The tangle free part held up, and this was a great flag pole however my review is 4 stars instead of 5 because it only held up 4 months before the plastic part of the pole where the flag clips on broke off likely due to sun exposure, we have some pretty heavy wind today which is was probably triggered the flag to break off

This flag pole and bracket kit looks great and is very easy to assemble. However, there are a few issues. First, the screws that come with it are very long and I had to use shorter ones to attach the bracket to my house. Second, the swivel ring for the flag does not work properly if the pole is hung at an angle instead of straight out horizontally. The flag keeps getting caught up top and then the poles themselves start unscrewing. I went outside after one night and found that the top half of the flagpole had unscrewed itself during the night and my nation's flag was laying on the ground. I was not happy about that. I not have the pole hanging straight out horizontally and it works fine, so I'll just leave it as is. The swivel rings really need work.

I have my flag hanging vertically and this pole fits the bill. It seems like the finial is plastic, which surprises me because the pole is stainless steel and very substantial. I would recommend this flag pole. Should hold up great in the weather

The pole itself is the BEST pole I have had. Our problem is that we have not had it even 6 months and the plastic collar to which you fasten the flag has already broken. I wish it was stainless steel as well. And I cannot find a replacement part.
