I marched with this flagpole for several hours in very strong gusting wind with no problems. It comes as 4 sturdy tubes that screw together easily and snugly. The 2 attachment rings come with strong hooks attached to keep your flag from wrapping itself around the pole in the wind. Each attachment ring has as a screw that allows you to firmly position the rings according to the size of your flag, keeping it spread out perfectly along the pole. The bottom end of the pole is smooth enough that I was able to carry the flag braced against my hip without snagging my nylon jacket. Much of the time I also held the bottom end of the pole in the palm of my bare hand with no discomfort. There is a metal ball topping off the pole to complete the look.

I got this for the front of the house to hang seasonal flags. The rings with the clips are supposed to turn with the wind to stop the flag wrapping itself around the pole, one of them doesn't turn, so it gets stuck all the time. I may have to look into weights for the flags. It was easy to install as I already had the bracket attached to the house so it was just a matter of inserting the pole and tightening the screw that was on the bracket. It looks great until the flag starts to wrap itself around the pole.

Pole is strong and sturdy, but doesn't "spin" the flag as expected when it's windy. I've had to untangle the flag a couple of times. Color is perfect and as shown. Easy to put together.
