I'm writing this not so much as a negative than it is what you pay for. I was looking for a wheeled stand to store my 100lb drill press. It needed to be 12" wide. I stumbled upon this and it fits the bill. However: 1) The metal is thinner than quality tool boxes and the same metal thickness is used for the top. I added the 1" plywood work surface on the top to keep it from bending. 2) The drawer slides are half the height of normal tool box slides and are not doubled up so the drawers will not slide all the way open. Also there wasn't an obvious way to pull the drawers out. 3) The handle only goes on one end and the wheels are decent but I rather they not all spin 360 degrees. The ones opposite the handle should be set to make it easier to roll into a tight spot (minor annoyance). 4) The bright drawer lips are covered in a protective plastic sheet that is near impossible to remove. I lost patience with the first one. (Again, minor annoyance.) 5) The hardware to attach handles and wheels is good enough but be sure to use locktite as the kit has nothing. 6) And it is only 12" deep -- which is exactly what I was looking for. Height 30", width 25". Just beware it is small for a tool cart. All-in-all you get what you pay for; it was built to a price point. It is serviceable, arrives in a nicely padded box and you only have to attach wheels & handle. The box isn't' as heavy as it looks because what is in it isn't. ... show more

I got this tool cabinet thinking it could be used to organize sockets and other metal tools. After putting in some sockets and wrenches in the drawers, one of the slides on a shallow drawer bent and lost the ball bearings. The drawer slides do not allow the drawers to be removed so the only solution is to install replacement slides. The drawer slides are flimsy and the drawers must be carefully opened to avoid breaking the slides. Also, the drawer slides are about 1/2 extension making it somewhat difficult to access the back of the drawers.
