This product works!! No more melted exhaust cutout wires!! Before using this product I had an issue with the exhaust cutout wires getting melted due to the radiant heat.

Used this to protect aluminum fuel lines that ran close to headers. Out of curiosity, I tested the heat resistance with a propane torch and was impressed by the resistance. Its also really durable and will protect from abrasion. NOTES: 1. some stainless ties work great to hold it in place. 2. The material is tough so utility scissors didn’t job. 3. I used heavy duty shrink sleeve for a more finished look on the ends. 4. The rubberized material can be a little sticky. I used a little ArmorAll to keep everything from sticking to it. ... show more
