These scissors are very light and very comfortable. The cutting action is great even on braided line and other hard to cut "slippery" materials. Did I mention the handles are very comfortable? I am not a fan of lanyards because they tend to snag on everything- but it's there if you want to use it. Really nice scissors for more than just fishing!

These scissors have been a great addition to my fishing tackle as they are small and sharp enough for my rig setups and changes. The handles are comprised of easy to clean, hard plastic that feel ergonomic in my small hands. The blades are very sharp and easily cut through my braided line. Lastly, I appreciate the attachment clip as they easily prevent getting lost. A good find!

Everything I mention on this review is covered in my photos if you're so inclined. So, I am to the point where I use super lines/braids in much of my fishing both stateside as well as down in Baja, Mexico. I own a pair of cheap-o braid scissors to cut and trim those lines when needed. In most cases I have to maintain a bit of tension on the line to cut through it clean on the first try. I ordered these Pullther braid scissors looking for a significant improvement and it's a mixed bag. On the plus side, there is a double-finger handle on one side where I can get two of my fingers in with room to spare. I can force two fingers into my old scissors, but it doesn't rate anywhere on the fun scale. Both pairs of scissors have a serrated edge to “grab” the braid. The little lanyard is a nice accessory when I'm fishing off my pontoon boat. I did a side by side cutting test on 6# Nanofil, 8# braid, and 80# braid. I attempted to cut the line(s) with no tension applied. The old scissors failed on all three lines just crushing the fibers instead of finishing the cut. The Pullther scissors cut through both of the lighter lines without difficulty. They did end up crushing the fibers of the 80#, I suspect due to the higher number of fibers. When I applied a small amount of tension to the 80#, the Pullther's cut cleanly with almost no effort. The Pullther's are obviously more expensive than my old scissors, however, they do work considerably better and they are more comfortable in my hand. They are not perfect, but they are a solid four-star product.
