I bought these to replace a jack whose leads had corroded. This wasn't an exact replacement but should have worked. It did but the first one I installed was shorted necessitating having to remove and replace it. The second worked but the power plug has to be just so to make proper contact.

Will work for me for charging however I am measuring 24 gauge wire and that is loose in the gauge so if metric it is between 24 & 26 gauge. 24 gauge in silicone wire can carry 6 amps. The advertisement for this item says 5 amps. I use this type of wire every day and knew the conductor wire was way less than 18 gauge. 18 gauge in this wire type would carry 15 amps. I would not use this wire for more than 5 amps. The vendor should correct the gauge size. ... show more

Work well for light-duty applications. Wire gauge is obviously not meant for any long runs or high power applications. All of mine were identical and function properly. Good value for me, given the time and trouble I saved over soldering and wrapping all of these myself.

I used these connectors to convert the battery-powered trash bin into AC-powered (since the trash bin ate 6 AA batteries in 2 weeks -> about 70 bucks a year, which is more than the bin costs itself). Worked perfectly - no more batteries.
