We used the hose as intended. We replaced the metal fuel line on a 1984 gmc square body. Easy to cut with a utility knife, fit over the fuel intake and held tight with a clamp. Overall easy to run, and is doing the job. We did make sure to keep it away from any heat source of fear of melting.

I used this to reroute a new fuel line for my 2001 Mercedes E320 wagon. My original metal fuel lines was rusted out because of a hydraulic leak from the suspension and replacing it would cost a fortune. I also replaced other rubber fuel hoses and filter for good measure.
