I used this as a temporary fence around my back patio pad, which has a drop of about 1.5 feet, definitely enough to send a clumsy guest or curious pet tumbling if relevant in your case. This plastic fencing has been a lifesaver. It’s lightweight but surprisingly sturdy, and it was ridiculously easy to set up with the included zip ties. Took me maybe 15 minutes while drinking iced tea and listening to birds judge me. The green blends in well with the yard, so it doesn’t look like I’m building a zoo enclosure. And while it’s definitely temporary, it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap, no tears, sagging, or wind flapping so far. If you’ve got a safety hazard or just need to fence something off in a hurry without making it look like a construction site, this is the one.

I order this temporary fencing to use around our raised garden bed where we grow cantaloupe. We have a gray fox that loves to swipe the ripe fruit, so we're hoping this will be a deterrent. You must have some kind of posts to attach it to, and it is helpful to have two people for the process. It comes with zip ties. Three star rating--the fencing is more like a medium weight netting, so it snags easily and is a little flimsy to work with. Stay tuned for an update once our melons are ripe for the picking.

This netting was perfect for what I wanted to use it for - to cut pieces to wrap around tomato cages to protect newly planted garden plants from critters that had destroyed some I planted a few weeks earlier. We don't have deer come through, and I don't think it would stop them (it's fairly sturdy but a large animal could probably get through it). Nothing unraveled or came loose when cutting it. The included zip ties were helpful as well. Decent sized length and height for the price.

We have an apricot tree. Every year the birds and squirrels get my apricots. The tree has grown into a rather strange shape because of its location. I cold not get a regular zip type tree net over the branches. So we used this netting draped over the tree along with some plastic net scraps left over from another project. I will have to spread it out a little more in the morning. I hope it protects some of my fruit. We will know soon enough.

I would call this more of a soft barrier cloth than a fence. It's soft and flexible and cannot support it's own weight in any way. If you have good straight posts secured at every corner you can stretch this around and use it as a sort of fence but you'll also need to secure the bottom since the clothlike flexibility will easily allow animals to push up and manipulate it to get inside. Coming folded instead of rolled doesn't help working with it either so It didn't get used for what it was ordered for and I can't tell you how it holds up over the summer.
