I am a yoga instructor and this mat is so far my favorite. I’ve used a lulu lemon mat and liked the texture and this one is basically the same. Perfect length, rolls is great and does not leave creases and does not scratch easily. It’s nice and heavier so it lays flat and does not move. It is also nonslip, truly nonslip. I have a manduka and I have slipped on it a lots. I got the black, love a good black mat. Also feels great on my knees. Only complaint is that forehead oil stays on the mat. An easy wash with dish soap takes it off though; another reason I like the black one. ... show more

I was worried about the thinness but it’s still comfortable on a hard floor! It’s a softer almost leather like texture which is great for grip. I love the color and pattern too. It’s super long and wide! It does leave some prints but seems to be easy to clean off!

I have been in the hunt for a excellent quality mat as this one. I hated feeling as if I always knew I would have to replace a mat in the future once I opened it. The moment I rolled this one out I knew this mat was made by someone who understood the importance of a structural support and that this one was built to last! Amazing color contrast, absolutely amazing comfort under feet. Feels so good against your skin. Never thought I would call a yoga mat luxurious but it is! It feels so good. Soft, suede like feel. Has good grip. Thin may but still has enough thickness to cushion from the floor. Color is rich and pretty. Best yoga mat I have owned!

The mat itself is good and cushiony. six months later it still smells like a tyre. the instructions that came with the mat I believe said the smell will go away. It is hard to do routines which require you to lie down on the mat with face down. the smell is what makes me give it a two star. wish I would be able to return it and exchange it for a non tyre smelly mat. ... show more

I’m not sure why everyone is saying this May has great grip. It doesn’t. My hands slide all over the place. It’s a nice quality mat but if you’re looking for grip this isn’t the one.

I got this mat because I needed one that really didn’t slip. This mat definitely delivered on that. It absorbs sweat really well so that didn’t interfere with my workout like other mats I have. The material is different from other yoga mats I’ve had, but that makes it work really well and gives you a lot of grip. It allowed me to get deeper into my stretches because of this and that was great. The only thing I will say is it is on the thinner side so it didn’t provide a lot of cushioning.
