*Technically* this camera outputs 4K/60FPS video, BUT: The image quality is awful; it looks like it records at maybe 720p and then scales up to 4K before saving. There's also no focus setting, so almost everything is extra blurry. If you open a 60FPS recording and step through it frame by frame, you'll see that every other frame is a copy of the previous frame. It records 30FPS and then doubles every frame so the output file reports 60FPS. The camera works fine, but don't expect an actual native 4K/60FPS recording out of it.

I figured I would give it a try for the price. I got what the price suggested: more like HD image quality when set to 4K at 60fps on this camera compared to phone camera that is also advertised at 48MP 4K 60fps. I ran a live side-by side on OBS studio and this camera produced unacceptably low image quality compared to the phone camera. I was hoping to have a permanent setup with this camera but will be sticking with my phone.

The media could not be loaded. This video camera might not have the same fancy lenses or power as some of the newer phones, but it's a great price for when you don't want to risk your phone. Want to film a family swimming party but don't want to risk getting your phone wet? This is good for you. Want to film your friends skating but don't want to risk dropping your phone? This is good for you.

They contacted me after issuing a full refund and offered me a brand new camcorder for free and free shipping. I got the new camera in the mail today and it works fine. Good camcorder.
