This KVM is small, high-quality and easy to install. Unfortunately, I could not get any video out of it. I believe the issue is on my end as I have a monitor from 2016, and although it's displayport capable, it may be out of spec with newer hardware. I don't want to blame the KVM on that. Otherwise it performs quick switching between 2 computers. My favorite thing about this KVM is it does not require an external power supply. My previous USB switcher did, so while I did not resolve the input switching required with my directly-connected monitor, it did reduce a cable in my setup overall which is is nice. My only real complaint (other than the above) is that the remote switch is a little light and doesn't really stay put. A little double-sided tape should handle that. I also would have preferred a computer number indicator on the remote as it can difficult to troubleshoot which PC is enabled, particularly when there's no video like I had. I've used several KVMs over the years and this is the smallest and best-constructed I've seen. Highly recommend. ... show more

The BDFFLY Display Port KVM Switch is much smaller than my previous KVM switch. It has 3 USB 3.0 ports and a remote button. My previous KVM switch worked OK but it was only USB 2.0. I received another KVM switch that would not work with my older PC because it was not Generation 11 or newer; this one works. I have one monitor, a Samsung 28” Odyssey G70B Series 4K UHD Gaming Monitor that doesn’t work with this switch for some reason but my Acer ED270R monitor works great with this KVM switch. I like that it doesn’t require an external power source. I love that I can switch between my old computer and my new computer without having to swap out mouse, keyboard, wireless headset, wireless game controller etc.; just press the remote button and everything works on either system. Just hook up the USB and Display Port cables and it should work for you. I love it. I hope it stands the test of time. I highly recommend. ... show more

DP KVM switches are not as popular, and therefore more expensive, then HDMI ones. This one is among the more affordable ones, yet more expensive than most HDMI KVM switches. Solid build and convenient placement of the input and output ports made it easy to have it up and running in less than 10 minutes (I had an extra DP cable). And it works as expected. I noticed a small delay when switching the USB peripherals and the display switch is almost instant. BTW, one concern I had was compatibility with wireless mouse and keyboard dongles, which do not play nice with USB 3.0 ports, and I am glad to report there were no issues. The only disappointing point was the remote switch button. It works, but its construction fells very cheap (see picture). This seems to be a well-built product, takes two inputs from two different computers and can be sent to one screen. This is a must if you have multiple computers at your workstation. It allows you to be able to share monitors, a mouse, and keyboard, or other USB devices without having to constantly plug in and remove connectors that could cause damage. I don't know how to use this and there are no instructions. I thought I could connect my two laptops but it doesn't work. USB cords are short. This might be good, might not be but I just can't say.
