This watch is great. The touch screen works much smoother than the earlier version. I bought the previous generation of this watch in 2020, it works OK, but the screen was broken last month. Since we had used the SIM card for more than 3 years, we don’t want to change too much of the replacement. We were looking for a compatible watch which can use the same SIM card/number and same app. I am very pleased to find this watch, it works perfectly with the sim card, and the GPS app is the same as our old watch. This watch definitely has more functions than the old one. First, it has the quiet mode, and it can also adjust the volume, my kid can received the call or message at school without interrupting the class. Also, the touch screen is much easier to slide. The music sound is more vivid the the old generation, my kid can choose the sound he likes as the ringtone. The camera is also improved a lot, the video call and video chat are clear. The GPS App works great, it is quite accurate and we can set up the boundaries. If the kids move outside of the boundary, the parents can receive the alarm. Another highlight about this watch is that it doesn’t have too many games. Even though kids love games, I don’t want them to spend too much time on playing the watch. This watch has fundamental features that good enough for parents to know where the kids are, make a phone call, leave a text message or voice message, and make a video call. Of course this watch has other functions like camera, calculator, stopwatch, etc. the charger is much improved than the old generation, it is faster, and tighter than the old generation. Had to return this one. while the watch worked great when using as a phone, but the functionality was very confusing for me as a grown up, what more for a kid. The time is military and cannot be changed too.

    • Won't connect GPS Wrong

We have had this watch for a few months now. With very little success. The app that comes for the watch is not good at all. Problems we have had, can't connect to the watch when calling, you then have to remote restart the watch. The location is wrong most of the time. It will only tell you when the watch leaves ta safe zone, not good if it won't give the correct location in the first place. We have had a number of calls on the watch when we have reject unknown calls switched on. Even though we have the app on our cell giving full access to notifications we don't get the voice message notifications under chat straight away. We have switched the watch to have LBS on and off a number of times, it still gives the wrong location in the app. We have two of the watched and have similar problems with both. ... show more

We wanted to get a smart watch for our son for Christmas gift but we don’t need him to have cellular or GPS or anything like that, but he really wanted a smart watch so after some research we purchased him this one for Christmas. He absolutely loves it! The battery life seems very good, screen is better than we thought it would be, it’s LCD, but looks good. The build quality and band feel great. The watch itself has great features, his favorites are the flashlight, camera, music player, timers/stopwatch, calculator, and games. We went with the green color because it’s his favorite color and it looks amazing. We could not be happier with this watch for the price and the fact that we wanted a kids smart watch that is not able to connect to data or I internet. We only wish that it would light up when he raises it to see the time, instead you still need to click a button or touch the screen to see the time. Other than that it’s perfect. ... show more

    • A decent watch, but GPS accuracy is bad

Good: Battery life: Decent, on using it outside home, I get about 3 - 4 days without needing to recharge Video Call & SOS - Calls to the watch are great, the SOS feature is great Geo-Fence: This is a good feature but rendered useless with the bad GPS. This watch isn't a GPS watch, it is getting the location from the cell towers, making it inaccurate Limited Features: The watch has the features we need, its not a game watch etc, so that helps letting my kid have the watch as it doesn't become a toy. SOS calls: Adding a number and getting the calls on the press of the button is great. School time: having the do not disturb mode is great. Don't Like: Inaccurate GPS Feature: This is NOT accurate at all, even after changing to a better cellphone plan, the GPS puts the watch many blocks away, many a time the location shown is over a mile or two away, this makes the geo-fence useless as it keeps watching me that my kid is outside the safe zone. Update frequency: the update frequency in the App is 10 mins, 1 hour or sleep. The 10 mins is just too useless, it looks like the watch doesn't want to give 1 min frequency, as the same sim on a different watch did a 1 minute update. I need regular updates, not every 10 mins. The inaccurate GPS and 10 minute update make this watch only a 3 star rating. ... show more

i am not sure if it's the phone service (I used Mint Mobile) but phone calls sometimes do not go through. person will pick up from other line but does not actually connect to the watch. I tried the sim card on a regular phone and signal doesn't seem to give problems so my suspicion is it's really the watch. Also, after three months only of careful use, the watch's battery is now dead even after charging. GPS location is also very inaccurate. Lastly, the video call is pixelated and once again you don't always get to see the other person, just green lines on the screen instead. ... show more
