  • Too cool
Great product 14yr old loves it. Said you can turn off drift mode and that it drifts “seeet”

  • Not bad
My son ordered this for himself. He loves it. The only issue the batteries that came with it only last about 20 minutes.

  • Thought it was a drift car
I bought two of these thinking they were drift cars they are not they’re just remote control cars the wheels do not turn enough in the front to be a true drift

  • Does not have proportional steering.
They say it has proportional steering, it does not. It's still fun, but they flat out lie in the description. It's either straight, or full tilt to the left/right.

  • Fun on the basketball court.
RC cars designed to drift like this one are just pure fun on a nice large flat surface like a basketball court. This one is FAST, and it's fun to get it going top speed and then lock the steering left or right and watch it drift around in a circle like a NASCAR car going around a tight turn. As with many rc cars in this price range, there is a bit of a learning curve getting it to spin and drift like the videos show you. However, that's part of the fun of these things. This one didn't disappoint. Obviously, this is designed for smooth flat surfaces only. As soon as it hits grass or gravel it will not navigate well, as the ground clearance isn't enough, and the tires won't grab. In fact, when you drift, you don't want them to grab! Fun little rc car... five stars. ... show more

  • great car, some parts could be improved
little overpriced, also shell is weak otherwise, car is fast and quality is not bad

  • Drifting is fun!
This comes with two shells and two sets of tires. The shell is a little different than many of my other RC cars. It is a little tricky to get the front to unhook, I worry I may break something whenever swapping shells. Under the shell pretty much everything is contained inside the hard plastic mold. I doubt parts can be swapped if anything breaks. The lights are controlled with the remote. You can swap between red, blue, and off. Overall it is fun to drift and this seems like it provides good value at this price point. ... show more

  • Ok for kids
Ok for kids but subpar tires and non proportional steering kills it for me. For $10-15 more you can get a better car from a more reputable brand like Hbx, hosim, Deerc. It’s not a bad car - it’s not junk - it’s just not great. It comes with two sets of tires, but the ‘drift’ tires are just plastic with no rubber at all, and the ‘performance’ tires are fine for regular driving but you can’t drift in them. It comes with two bodies, which is nice, but there’s some work involved in switching bodies. It’s not as simple as switching a cover. The batteries are self contained, which is nice, and simply pop in to the bottom of the car. It has lights and the remote has a high and lo settting. But without proportional acceleration or steering you really lose any ability for fine control of this car. This means if you pull the trigger you go one speed, regardless of how hard you pull. There is a high and low speed setting on the remote, but that’s it. If you turn the wheel it goes all right/left or snaps back to center, with nothing in between. You can adjust the tracking on the bottom of the car to help keep it driving straight, but it’s a common design meant for kids who don’t know any better. If it’s your first rc car or it’s for a 7 year old I’m sure they will love it. But if you’re giving it to anyone who has any prior experience with half decent RC cars, they will immediately see the shortcomings. So not a bad car. No major issues or quality concerns. The brand is low end but reliable. I would just rather put the money toward a car with more staying power. Look for proportional steering and acceleration, non plastic tires, and easily accessible parts. A decent rc should last almost forever if you’re willing to order new parts and repair as needed. I believe the car was in the $50 range when I got it. It’s now selling for $35ish which is more reasonable, but doesn’t really change any of the critiques. If it didn’t advertise as a drift car i might be kinder, but the plastic tires dont ‘drift’. They just spin wildly with virtually no traction indoors, which does make the car spin, but that’s different than drifting. Drifting implies controlled sliding, and plastic tires offer no control at all. And that’s why I gave only three stars. ... show more
