  • 3 for the price of 1 deal
Size: 95MM
This was great, 3 Filters for the price of 1! I originally ordered the wrong size. I returned those and got these. The price was nice!

  • UV good, Polarized way too much grease
Size: 77MM
I got the 77mm for my Canon Lenses. The UV filter is good. Love it, however i put the CPL filter on first thing i noticed was the amount of grease on the ring. There were grease spots from the ring spattered on the filter glass. I've tried to wipe them off carefully and gently with multiple wives, but in the end, they're still on the filter, which affects the picture. It's a bummer i really wanted to love this filter, but i can't give it 5 stars. Functionality, the other two screw on nicely and fit like they should. ***EDIT*** The customer service is Amazing, they reached out to me almost immediately and worked through the issue. For that ill increase my rating to 4 stars. ... show more

  • OKAY!! I'm a Fan now
Size: 49MM
The Altura Photo 49MM Lens Filter Kit I bought for my 50mm lens has really impressed me with its performance and results far! Each filter, in the set brings something to the table and has truly elevated my photography in various ways, I put all of them to the test and had a few things to say. The UV filter is really handy for protection – I always make sure it's on my lens to guard against dust and scratches as well as accidental fingerprints which we know happens from time to time! The best part is that it doesn't impact the image quality all; in fact, it helps keep my photos super sharp even in sunny conditions. The polarizer filter is a must have for photography enthusiasts like me! It works wonders by minimizing reflections, from water and glass while boosting the richness and depth of colors in my landscape photos. Using an ND filter enables me to capture images in daylight by slowing down the shutter speed without causing overexposure issues. Making it perfect for achieving motion blurs such as silky water flows or dynamic cloud movements; it's also handy for maintaining balanced exposure when aiming for a wide aperture, in shots requiring depth of field focus. The filters are crafted from top notch glass material. I haven't experienced any unexpected changes in color or distortions with them. Moreover, the case provided helps in keeping everything maintained and safeguards the filters when they are not being used. This set of filters is ideal, for photographers seeking to enhance their photographs with a range of filters. I strongly suggest it for its quality and effectiveness! ... show more

  • 1-Stars are Defects. These Things Really Work
Size: 40.5MM
I think the 1-star reviewers here should ask for a replacement. I am using these filters on a Sony Alpha A5000 and man - they're fantastic. My original intention was to get some cheap filters to put on a decent camera and maybe get my boyfriend interested in photography. I figured the UV filter would keep dust off the lens and didn't expect much from the polarizer. Most of the time I have been using just the UV or the UV + The Polarizer. I stack them, the UV never comes off the lens. Both filters can be removed freely when I want to, and zero of my photos so far have shown lens flare. A few have shown double images but I'll explain that in a moment. One thing you have to understand is that a polarizer fights your camera's autofocus. It darkens the image, and it would seem that the act of polarizing the light makes the camera think things are in focus when they are not. I've seen this on lots of fairly nice Nikon and Sony cameras (never used a Canon, I assume it'll be the same there). When your camera autofocuses poorly, you get a double image. That's all there is to it. You should adjust your viewfinder's diopter if you're seeing a clear image but it's fuzzy when you snap it. You should also be paying attention to your focus indicator because usually your camera knows when something is wrong with the focus. I attached two pictures - both with UV filter and polarizer stacked. One of a seeding salsify and one of text. Both shot at F/9 The Salsify is shot at ISO 200 outside The text is shot at ISO 1600 inside Both clear and crisp because I didn't point and shoot - I took the time to get a good shot. Bad optics are bad - but it is the responsibility of the photographer to get good results - be that exchanging a defective filter or spending some time to figure out why your camera is struggling to capture a sharp image. Less than fifteen bucks got me a set of filters that work as described - and make a nice addition to any camera - mirrorless or DSLR. ... show more
