  • SURPRISINGLY strong. Lightweight.
Style: 77"
I had my doubts when I saw it was a rake in a box. I have a place in the desert where I have to deal with a lot of rock and gravel, and this rake held it's own. It shows up needing minor assembly which only takes a few minutes. Poles screw together to created the handle, and the rake head is held on with a pair of small machine screws/locknuts. They give you a small pair of tools to attach the head, but I found a ratchet and 8mm socket from my toolbox was a better bet. The rake head feels very solid. The long tines are adequately sharp, and the short side has a nice tooth arrangement. The material is reasonably thick, and the welded wire outriggers to support the head feel tough. The hammertone finish looks good, and time will tell how long it lasts. The handle extensions threaded together easily. Once completed I braced the head with my feet and gave the whole assembly a good twist to tighten it all up. I had a hole dug/backfilled for a yard hydrant and this was a perfect time to test this out while I cleaned up the area. Lots of baseball sized rocks and gravel to move around. I was impressed how rigid and sturdy this rake feels while dragging and pushing material. I used it like any other solid handle rake and it performed just as well. The long tines pulled larger material arond, and the short side smoothed the surface excellently. I expected to feel it flex with heavy down pressure, and it didn't. The extra long handle is great! None of the extentions come loose during this task, and I put it away without needing to retighten anything when I was finished. You need a solid rake, get this one. I wouldn't have believed it unless I used it myself. I have a few expensive rakes this size, and they don't feel as sturdy as this one. This is a welcome addition to my tool shed. Would recommemd. Easy 5 star product for both performance and value. ... show more

  • Gets the Job Done
Style: 77"
I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed by a garden rake, but here we are — this one definitely exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, it was super easy to put together, which is always a win. No complicated instructions or annoying tools needed — just a simple build, and you’re good to go. Once I started using it, I could tell this wasn’t your average lightweight rake. It’s really sturdy and heavy-duty, which makes a big difference when you’re tackling tougher yard work. I’ve used it to pull out weeds, cut through tall grass and weeds, and even clear out some rough patches in the garden — and it handled everything well. It doesn’t bend or feel flimsy at all, and the handle gives you great control and leverage. Honestly, it made my yard work a lot faster and less frustrating. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable garden rake that can handle more than just light leaves, this is a great pick. It’s strong, easy to use, and definitely built to last. I’d happily recommend this to any gardener — beginner or seasoned — who needs a rake that can keep up with real yard work. And I’d love the chance to keep testing more tools like this for brands that care about quality and performance! ... show more

  • Great value
Style: 77"
Actually a pretty solid rake! It comes in multiple pieces and all you have to do is screw it together. The upside to this is you can adjust how long you want the handle. The down side is using some force to scrape the ground can cause it to start unscrewing. But overall I'm happy with it and the quality of the material seems like it will last a long time without breaking or rusting out ... show more

  • Yard clean-up - yay!?
Style: 77"
It's a great heavy duty rake for getting the apples in the yard picked up before they disintegrate and attract stinging insects (I'm looking at you, bees) Standard broom rakes can't move anything heavier than a dried leaf! This rake moves stuff into a pile and we only have to bend over once or twice to pick up a pile with a shovel. The adjustable handle part is great for reaching under bushes and I can share the rake with the kids so they can have fun too : ) We also will take it camping to rake under the tent. I only wish it had a locking button/collar instead of a screw and nut for the very bottom in order to remove the handle completely from the rake to make it easier to pack. ... show more

  • Best value and extreamly durable.
Style: 77"
Absolutley amazed by this rake. It is extreamly strong. When you screw it together, you can adjust the handle length to 4 different lengths. It works exactly as designed. It works on light or very heavy leaf coverage. I do not think you can find another rake with this quality for the price.

  • The only garden rake you'll ever need.
Style: 77"
This baby packs a punch. As I was putting this very long garden rack together, I was impressed with the ease of assembly. Not only did it go together without looking at the instructions, as I put each piece into its threaded slot, I was able to really observe the craftsmanship of this product. The overall weight, the feel, and the extended long reach all come together to make this a wonderful addition to my gardening tools. Although we have switched over to mostly hydroponics out here in the desert, I still need a good garden rack for our raised beds and gravel areas. This rack nails it. Not only is it sturdy, but when I fully extend the reach, there is no bend in the shaft like so many cheaper-made racks. This bad boy is well-made, rugged, and I'm hoping it will last my lifetime. ... show more

  • The screw openings don't align
Style: 49"
The rake is all metal, including the handle and the rake bottom. It arrives in pieces that you need to assemble, and includes instructions, but it's straightforward. Each section of the handle are joined together by screwing them into each other, like an Ikea lamp. The bottom rake part is a little different. The bottom of the handle has three holes at the bottom, and must be pushed into the rake part which also has three holes, and they must align so you can secure them with screws. Unfortunately, these holes didn't align for me, and I can't adjust the pieces because they're stuck and I can't move them. So unfortunately, the rake is unusable. ... show more
