I only have one small issue with this desk, and that is, that a screwdriver is required but not supplied. Other than that it’s all good stuff. The packaging was perfect, instead of regular styrofoam that clings to everything they use a softer more dense foam. Every single piece was wrapped in plastic, clearly labeled with stickers. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. It doesn’t have an odor and it didn’t have any damage whatsoever. It went together easily and works and looks great. This is my first standing desk and is a total upgrade from my previous desk. Set up took a little over an hour - the instructions were clear and easy to follow and included were the bits and tools needed to put it together! The actual desk is composed two deep black boards together, when put together the meeting point is visible but its gapless and fairly flat! The additional desk set up with the tablet holder and the headphone holder is handy but I opted out in having the headphone holder to my right side. The drawer slides can be placed backwards for this to work. Once put together it makes for a beautiful desk! The most impressive part of this has to be the motor lift mechanism - Operation is very very quiet and can only be heard when operating the travels speeds are higher (travel speeds at first are slow but progressively increase to keep desk stability). I've been using this for about a month and operation remains as good and quiet as it did day 1! I'm very satisfied with this desk as introduced me to standing desks and gave a real good impression of them! I'm excited to get some longer cables, proper cable management and maybe some ambient lighting to fit around it! Would recommend! ... show more

This standing desk is quite good. It's a bit on the small side being 47 1/4" wide x 23 5/8" deep. It's 1/2" thick, so take that into account if you are using monitor mounts. I chose to use the table top monitor stand on a different table. It is not attached to the desk as it just sits on top. I used a pair of monitor mounts with some plates to sandwich the desk. The table top is 28.3" at its lowest point and 46.5" at its highest point. That is displayed on the controls which is nice. The operations is smooth and quiet. I've been wanting a standing desk for so long, so I was so excited to jump on this one! I have a home treadmill and have been struggling to find time to use it due to always having other commitments that kept me chained to my desk. This changes the game for me! It makes exercising whilst also completing office work literally a dream and I feel better mentally and physically because I'm able to move my body more and feel less guilt about being at home all the time. It was extremely easy to put together and I did it by myself in only an hour or so. Using the desk is even easier than putting it together was. This fits the bill so decided to give it a try. It was pretty easy to assemble. The quality is decent for the price, the motor is on the louder side and takes a little time for it to ramp up to speed. The lowest this desk goes is 28 3/4 inch so might not work for those that are short. Didn't measure how tall it goes as I'm not the tallest person so I don't max out the height. There are four memory settings, I set one for when I sit and one for when I'm standing. I really like that I can just walk up to it in the standing height and do some quick work without having to pull up a chair every time. For the projects that I need to spend more time on I can then lower it to my sitting position and be comfortable. The size works for what I'm using it for but if I were to use it for my home office it would be too small for my needs. So measure out your desk space needs to make sure this will work for you. ... show more

I wanted a versatile desk to use in the main family area, and this one fits the bill perfectly. We love that it can be used while walking on the treadmill, standing, or sitting. It was very easy to set up—unboxing and assembly took maybe 20 minutes. The motor is quiet when adjusting the desk height, and it’s very sturdy, made with good-quality materials. I also like that it came with an additional monitor stand and a hook for resting headphones. The workspace is a great size—you don’t feel cramped when typing while having a notebook off to the side. We use similar desks at my corporate HQ, but they’re much smaller and not nearly as comfortable for all-day work. I’m really happy we went with this size. ... show more

I didn't put this together - I made my daughter's husband do it - but it is BEAUTIFUL. He was able to put it together in an hour or so, just enough time for my daughter to finish baking some cookies. The desk itself is not very heavy, so can easily be moved from room to room by one person. It is 47" long for the one that I got, which is a nice, large size. It also comes with a mini organizer for your phone/mail etc, which I love since this doesn't have a drawer. The mechanisms are quiet, and you can barely hear it when you're moving the desk up and down. I think the rustic wood look is a good value for the money, even if it is engineered wood. ... show more

Desk is nice and it didn't take long to assemble. I chose this style because of the option to remove the platform from the top at any time, because it is not screwed into the top of the desk. The only bummer was one of the panels came with a chip in the corner, which I realized after the desk was totally assembled. The only options to resolve the issue would be to disassemble the desk and return for a replacement, or a very small amazon credit in comparison to what was paid for the desk.
