We replaced the crappy thermo-foil countertop in our Class C RV kitchen with the Howizz 60 x 25 in. solid wood table top (acacia, teak-stained finish), and it turned out perfect for the space. Standard butcher block tops are usually 1.5 inches thick, which would've interfered with our window frames and made everything feel too bulky in the tight RV kitchen, but this one's a slim 1 inch thick. The natural wood grain and warm teak tones look beautiful right out of the box, and I only applied a couple coats of butcher block wax for protection. No staining or heavy sealing needed, keeping those authentic natural colors intact. It feels sturdy and well-made, was easy to cut. Even though it's marketed more for desks or tabletops, it's an awesome non-traditional choice for RV countertops. Highly recommend if you're dealing with similar height constraints! ... show more

Perfect for my application. Used this with some legs I grabbed from Amazon and couldn't be happier. The tabletop looks gorgeous, the finish is exactly what I wanted. It has a bit of a rough texture to it, which I wasn't expecting, but I genuinely like it. Tabletop arrived in perfect condition, it was very well packaged. There were absolutely no flaws in the piece. None. Very happy there since I'd read reviews of boards separating. Overall I'm very happy with it. I'm not going to lie I was definitely skeptical buying a butcher block top from Amazon ... And well I was proven wrong .. the top came well packaged the finish is great .. no damages from workmanship I would definitely purchase from this store again

High quality, packaged nicely, came with no damage. Priced right. A few grainy spots but overall pleased. Teak stain looks nice but still need protection of a furniture wax/polish (in my case as a desk top).

    • I wish I bought something else - very disappointing

This is an awful table top - and a bad surprise that keep degrading . 1) The material is SOFT (a bit better than pine) - for a table top for office use, this is simply not what I want or expect. It is !! not walnut !! ... not even close . 2) The product does not looks like the images: It looks like a finish with paint was used to hide whatever going on with it - that is more yellow and red, than the classic walnut. 3) In the images , all the pieces are quarter-sawn, without the pith (the round wood center of the tree). In reality (I did cut the table to size a bit , which clearly show that 5 out of 9 pieces are with the Pith ... 4) The table top WARPS (I am talking about mor than 1/16" , closer to 1/8" on its narrow size .. length wise it got a belly - this is due the fact that, yeh, the pieces are mostly center pieces, and it feels that the wood is possibly not fully cured ? Maybe it is just super moisture absorber. 5) Finish: Wood tear up on the top surfaces from bad machine planning and bad sanding (yeh - I got picture to show) - you run your hand and is not smooth, with areas that clearly the wood was planning torn 6) Smells : The wood was wrapped in nylon, and whatever finish they used, it smells badly, even after a three of days. ... show more

Extremely satisfied with the sturdiness and quality of the wood, it’s thick and very heavy as a wooden desk should be, it supports my really heavy pc and monitor. Only complaint would be some sort of finish or coating on it so it’s easy to clean, but the size and everything is exactly as described. I was able to attach my own legs and drawers to make it more functional for my needs. ... show more

Replacement for my son's cheap desktop for his adjustable desk. Wood is soft, and looks like it could split easy to I predrilled all the holes before screwing it together. I also ended up drilling two 2" holes for wires and used the plastic wire covers from his previous desktop. He's had it for a few months now and it's held up great. "Wood" recommend! ... show more

Great quality. Great color. A bit more grey than in the pictures. It was very easy to screw to the table base I had and exactly the size I needed. The thickness makes it very sturdy but not too heavy. The wood is very smooth and even so it fits great and will be very easy to use.
