I ordered this as a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law, after she specifically requested it. She was thrilled when it arrived and immediately put it on.....it smelled beautiful! I hadn't smelled this scent since the early 1980's, and it was much nicer than I remembered! Admittedly, I was smelling it on two extremely sweaty visiting Europeans who were hiking at Yosemite National Park and had overpowering body odor they were striving to cover up with 4711 (NOT nice!)     • Pleasant change of pace
I bought this because I remember my uncle using it when I was growing up. It is as I remembered: Light, floral but not overly so, a great change of pace from 2 other fragrances I use regularly. That it is light is fine, but it fades faster than I would like - although no faster than most any other fragrance in the same price range. It will get you through an afternoon or a date effectively, but re-application is needed after 4 to 5 hours. Overall I am quite happy with it and will doubtless purchase it again. ... show more

    • Fresh clean smelling
The smell is just very pleasant, clean and fresh. It takes me back to my childhood when 4711 was the cologne of choice for us. The only drawback is that it doesn't last too long.

Do not get deceived by the photo. Read the product description. Photo shows 800mL but you really get 200mL. This cologne is great product! Just the sellers photo was deceptive.
