Please excuse the mess in the photo, I am reorganizing my very small kitchen. 5 stars for the coupon price. Would have been 3 or 4 stars otherwise. Fits well in my small kitchen and creates a more usable space. Finished build is fairly sturdy unladen. The very top piece did not screw together securely, screw simply spins. Non-issue since the shelf directly below it holds it together. I wouldn't put very much weight on it though; I think I will put my small potted plants there for decor instead of things that need to be used. Countertop I received was very well packaged in bubble wrap and edge protectors but had two minor 5mm gouges down to the board, one on the top and one on the top-edge, which I will have to fix to prevent the wood from swelling eventually. Inconvenient but ultimately not an issue, since I was planning to coat with a food-grade hard coat or metal sheet anyway. The main issue is that I received a bent basket. As it was packaged, I doubt it could have been bent in transport without significantly more damage to the box. I had to bend it back into a usable shape with a hammer. Works fine as a drawer now. Build time in the instructions says two or more people and 1 hour; if you're skilled with this kind of furniture, 1 person can build it in half hour or less. It is very, very simple. The instructions do not include that you can install the outlet on either side, but you can. You will need to check the screws on the wooden shelf, it comes pre-assembled but 2 of my screws were barely attached. It it exactly what I was looking for though. I am very tall and wanted countertop to comfortably knead dough on, and this falls in the range. The countertop is 37 inches tall. Ultimately, I'm glad that I went with this one, as my first impression. I'll update in 6 months with how it handles wear and tear in a family home with 2 younger kids and 2 cats. ... show more

Sturdy. I use this all day long. Big. So handy. I removed my cabinets and use this for utensils and mixers. So much room but narrow enough to not take the full kitchen floor. Beautiful. Bakers dream.

He put it together in less than 30 minutes. It looks just how I envisioned it before it arrived.
