I have now had the Dog Wash station set up in my garage for about two weeks. I have used it three times for my dog, and used it as a utility sink for garage projects as well. I thought the wash station assembly was very straightforward. The instructions made me laugh as in several places the numbers were printed backwards. Clearly, not proofread by an English speaker, but it didn't matter. The parts are logical and the images work just fine. I did, just as a precaution, use silicon caulk on the center drain during the setup process. That and a hose clamp where the drain went into the wall to ensure it stays there. Zero leaks. I did remove the raised floor after the first use, and my dog just stands right on the tub's bottom surface. She is Australian Cattle Dog, about 45 pounds. It works better that way. Not sure why I'd ever use the raised stainless steel floor for any dog taller than about 12 inches. Material was good, everything fit, and it works like I hoped it would. Overall top notch.

For the cost and delivery speed, this is a pretty good tub. It does require assembly. It came with all the necessary parts and tools to do so. If you are good with putting together IKEA furniture -no written instructions only pictures, you will do fine. I had to undo and flip parts a couple of times but managed to get two of them (one right side plumbing and one left) together by myself. As mentioned in other reviews, I swapped out the tub drain and the drain plumbing it came with for a better grade of materials, materials cost me an additional $100 per tub (drain, hook up lines, Teflon tape, drain pipe). Considerations. The drain is directly in the center of the tub, which increases the length of hardware needed to make it to the wall if like me, you don't have an outflow drain in your floor. Ditto for the inflow hoses (I bought a second set of the intake hoses and used plumbing nipples to marry the two lines). There is a wire sponge holder that mounts on the back (long wall) of the tub. It makes the tub that much more narrow for big dogs (retriever size) to turn around. Maybe if you could come up with a way to seal the holes, you could leave it off. The walk in ramp works but you will need to keep an eye on the screws which have had a tendency to back out and fall out. The precut grip mats for the stairs are good but there wasn't enough for each step AND you will want to use an epoxy glue if you want them to stay in place. This tub comes with an elevated platform for small dogs and it does the job well. I am 5'2 and found the legs screwed in at the lowest level works good for me. The second tub is for self-washers and I have it set two inches higher. The tubs have been fairly stable. I did wash a 110# Golden Retriever and when she shook and trembled, the tub vibrated which concerned me but really hasn't been an issue for any other dogs and as soon as I got her past her fear, both her and the tub were fine. I always planned on replacing these with larger, wider and significantly more expensive tubs, so I do consider them "starter tubs" and for the speed of delivery and price they are a good quality for home users. I am a professional groomer in a very rural area. I wash 5-8 dogs each day. For this reason I did buy and install "J" style hair traps (~$80ea) from a professional grooming distributor on both tubs. They are 1.5" and fit right on the rest of the 1.5" plumbing lines I bought from the local hardware store. Would I purchase these tubs again? Absolutely. If they were a little bit wider and longer, I would not plan on replacing them. So far I have not washed anything bigger than a Bernese Mtn Dog in these tubs. I have several Great Pyrenees, Malamutes and Newfoundlands who may find it a tight squeeze (hence my intent to replace them with 50" tubs).

The dog wash came very nicely packaged so that nothing was damaged. Got it all unpacked and found that the instructions were missing. Very hard to get support from the manufacturer so I printed a picture from the Amazon web site to use as a guide. Had to take things apart a couple of times but got it all assembled in about an hour. The quality is good although I would not buy for a large dog as our 80 lb. Lab is cramped so I was a little disappointed with the size. We will be able to make it work , just wished it was larger. I may have given it a higher review if the instructions had been in the box. I just expect better when I pay this kind of money for an item.

As a professional groomer. This tub is for a small and maybe a medium dog. The picture showed a golden retriever. Not likely. The tub is small and not deep with a small / short front. Good luck keeping a dog that wants to jump out in that joke of a tub. The insert. You can leave out. It will give you maybe 2 inches. Then the dog may jump out. No reason for the insert. What a joke. So disappointed. I will be sending back.

Kind of cheap. The shower head holder is super sharp and will cut you and you have to make sure to level the tub so it isnt wobbly.
