This item worked reasonably well for keeping the contents cool, but as a carrying bag, it can be a bit difficult to use depending on the weight of the contents. The handles don't make it easy to carry and the shoulder strap can be uncomfortable to put on when the contents are heavy. The bag handles/straps have not broken yet, but the way the bag looks when carrying heavier loads (ie. full of cans) makes it feel like it could break. The zipper can be difficult to zip as well.

I had originally ordered this for my husband to use daily as a water bottle cooler in his truck. It is too big for that purpose and he prefers something a little more structured. I needed something to take a couple of cold side items to a church function and realized that this bag was perfect. It held a medium sized plastic container of potato salad and a bowl of salad with no problem. There are lots of zippered sections and pockets. Plenty of room for the salad dressing and serving utensils. I was even able to stick my drink in one of the mesh pockets on the side. Kept the food cold for the travel time and the wait until lunchtime. My only complaint is the zipper to the main compartment is a little hard to zip around. But I'm hoping over time that will loosen up. This is really a useful cooler bag overall.

Did I say that this thing is BIG?? This is the largest Soft Side Cooler that we have ever owned and we are very glad that we ordered it. My wife and I live on a 2,000 acre lake in Florida and needless to say, fishing is a way of life. We keep our Bass Boat in the canal in the center of our property that leads out to the lake so that when the bug hits us, we start the motor and head out. Hard Side Coolers and Bass Boats were not made for each other. Bass boats are designed to Fish and Ski and there isn't room for a Hard Side Cooler on most of them. Our boat has a built-in cooler, but it is more of a hassle to use because of having to bring ice and whatever we are going to put in it out to our boat, sometimes requiring several trips. We decided to obtain and try a Soft Side Cooler instead. We made a wise choice when we ordered this one. It is well designed and insulated enough to keep everything cool for the duration when properly packed with ice or ice blocks. This thing is covered with pockets to place your items in and has enough space for a larger family to use for an outing. It is easy to clean up after use and it folds up nicely for storage. About the size of a small briefcase, once folded. We really cannot find anything that we do not like about it. This is a Great Soft Side Cooler and I HIGHLY recommend this product. It is a great value for the dollar and IS NOT a "cheaply made" product.

I like how this bag is designed to store compact. It folds up and has an elastic strap to keep it closed. This is important for me because we bring these in luggage when traveling so we can expand and have an ice chest on vacation. I like that it has two compartments. The top compartment is made out of heavy duty foil which should keep things cold. The bottom compartment doesn't seem to have any insulation. Will update my review come summer if this holds up. I think a lack of a foil lining in the main compartment will be a big drawback. It does have a waterproof liner and some padding but not what I expected.

This cooler is attractive and easy to carry because it has a shoulder strap and handles. It includes pockets for extra storage and extra space on the top. The zippers glide easily and are waterproof. It holds quite a bit and keeps the contents cold. I like that it is easy to clean. All I have to do is wipe it down quickly. The cooler seems well-made and should last me a long time.

This cooler bag surprised me with how big it is and also how well it is constructed. We rent a cabin with friends every year and I always take my favorite cooking utensils along with pre-prepped frozen food. This bag held everything! The inside cooler bag is roomy and well constructed. The top zippered compartment was deep enough that I was able to store all my utensils as well as any good knives (wrapped in towels). The outside mesh side pockets were perfect for a few spices and my water bottle. This cooler bag has become my go to travel option as it is so roomy but doesn't take up the space of a hard sided cooler. I've also gotten many compliments and asked several times where I got the bag.

I don't need a cooler often, but I wanted to test this somehow. So, I put a bunch of freeze packs in (the kind that keep frozen food cold during shipment), closed the top, left the cooler in room temperature, and came back 13 hours later. (See the picture). Most of the freeze packs were still somewhat frozen. There was no other food or other objects in the cooler. If it was packed with frozen food in addition to the freeze packs, I would guess everything would have remained very cold. To me, that's the real test, and this passed well. It's nicely built, with a bunch of pockets, as you can see from the product photos. You fold it up by unzipping the top, folding the front in, then pushing the top back down on top of the rest. There's an elastic strap to keep the cooler somewhat compressed when it's folded up, but it's possible that strap could catch on things when it's hanging off the bottom when the cooler is expanded for use. Also, the strap is likely to get dirty as it sits under the bottom. Not the best design, but a minor point for an otherwise nice piece at a competitive price.
