Our family has a whole collection of e-bikes and electric scooters but we seem to have an issue keeping track of the chargers. So we needed a replacement and I ordered this. It works well, charges reasonably fast, the plug is the correct fit and it's good quality. They are a bit rough of the chargers and this has held up pretty well. It will hopefully be lasting us awhile And for the price, it's a good deal.

I have two GoTrax electric scooters but forgot the chargers at home last time we went camping. Quite the bummer when you run out of juice and can't use the scooter anymore. I purchased a spare to keep in the camper so we will always have one in case. The ratings were the same as the OEM charger. 42v, 2A with the same plug size and cable lengths. I tested this and it charged my scooter as it should. Overall I'm pleased.

I am so happy that I am able to upgrade my 1 1/2 amp charger with this new 2 amp charger. This has cut my charge time from about 5 1/2 hours down to just 4 hours. This 42 V - 2 amp charger is only for 36 V batteries. It uses a one prong DC connector with a diameter of 5.5 mm. It provides stable output with short circuit protection, overvoltage protection and overcurrent protection. The sturdy case is constructed from high-quality ABS materials that are flame retardant. The charger will indicate that it’s in a charging state by illuminating its LED light red and then turning green when fully charged. The max output of this charger is 90 W.

this is a great replacement charger for your nine bot scooter. The build quality is decent. And it charges my scooter just like the original. I had to replace my original because the cord on the original came loose. This one fits perfectly and doesn’t get warm while charging. The price is right also.

E-scooters have this general issue where their primary source of braking is mainly from regenerative breaking. That tends to be disabled if your battery is fully charged. So if you live at the top of a hill and like to charge overnight, you run the risk of having no brakes going down the hill. The way to resolve this is to undervolt your charger to ~40.5V which is 85% charge. You lose some capacity, but you don't risk losing braking and gain some longevity of the battery also. This charger case is simply glued in. Just slit with a razor blade all along the edges. Then take a flathead small screwdriver and pry it near the middle of the case to get it open. Then pry gently all along edge with a larger screwdriver to get it open. Slowly pry the electronics out of the case. The potentiometer is glued in place with some red glue. I just put a drop of isopropyl with a dropper and gently pry the glue with a small screwdriver, slowly and repeatedly. Then it is simple to adjust the potentiometer with a voltmeter, although one must be very careful when working with electricity. It takes quite a few rotations to lower the voltage on this potentiometer. Reassemble and you're done. Reglueing isn't necessary as the case clicks into place. Patience is key for the whole process.

When my scooter charger stopped working, I tried this one as a substitute. This is an RCA type plug, and since scooters vary significantly in the changing plug they use, best to double check yours and make 100% sure this is what you need. In the end, it worked perfectly, charged my scooter in the same amount of time the old charger did, and did not get unduly hot or otherwise experience any issues. I also liked the ferrite bead included near the plug, this is to remove any stray common mode EMI (electrical interference) from causing issues with scooter electronics and charging. I would say that I'm 100% satisfied with this charger, and I would recommend it to anyone.

This charger works as expected and so far, has reliably charged my Ninebot scooter. It is a 2A charger, so you may be disappointed with the charging speed if you are replacing a faster charger. I have noticed that the charger gets warm while charging. Otherwise, works perfectly!
