I didn't go through and count all the screws, but I did count the ones that were low quantity, and there were only 12 of the #10 1-1/2, instead of 15. I wouldn't mind if it was missing a few screws, if there there are 50 or 80 of them, but missing 3 out of 15 is not good. Other than the missing screws, this has a lot of different sizes, probably enough to cover most projects that would use them, but they put less and less of the longer screws in the box. They range from 10 to 80 screws for the various sizes. I don't feel these numbers were based on what is most commonly used, I feel they were based on what they could put in the box. But despite my complaints, they work well, and I'm happy to have extras on hand, for when I need them.

Quality for being a thin 1/4 head and Phillips head style Self tapped, but also includes many of each variety especially the smaller sizes. And then plastic washers and bits for both style heads 1/4 driller is also magnetic.. I don’t usually leave reviews but some really nice thought and touches in this kit

I got this set of self tapping screws mainly for the Truss head screws to use for repairing the metal roof of my Dad's barn. They work great on the metal panels - I don't have to pre-drill holes for the screws. They are magnetic and "hold" to my drill bit. If I am careful, I can set the screws, they self tap through the metal and then into the wood joists with one hand. The Truss heads provide a built-in washer and larger surface area on the metal panels. The screws are made of zinc and treated so they are rust resistant and won't corrode after exposure to rain and heat. The partitioned and well labelled storage box allows me to quickly inventory what I have and how many I have left.

It is so helpful to have an assorted set of screws with a good variety of sizes around the house. We have an old fence that is probably on the verge of needing to be replaced, but to buy time, I find myself reattaching panels with some regularity. It is yet to be determined how well these screws will last in the humid conditions of South Florida, but at least for now they are serving their purpose. I do like the tips, which make them easier to tap into place before screwing them in. Makes it much easier to use than a typical screw. All told, I am very happy with the set. I would recommend.

These worked very well. They drilled right in with no pilot hole and no cracks. These were perfect for me. I will say that they aren't really suited for some clean project face. The black coating on a lot of the screws was chipped (though the metal underneath fine). It stands out pretty well when you look at them, so I'd say these are better as out-of-sight screws.
