The compact size, 5 inches by 2.5 inches, of the case makes this set easy to store. The legend on the lid with not only the name but also a photo of the screw and its size makes it easy to find the the one you want. Some people complained the lid didn't latch strongly. They must have re-engineered it because mine works fine. Each screw came not only in its own little section, but also in a small plastic bag, so I could just cut each bag and keep the whole bag in the section, so that the different screws wouldn't fall out or get mixed up. The screws themselves are good quality. I bought the whole kit but at the moment there is only one of them that I am using, and some I may never use, but I will always know the exact description of which ever one I use the most. ... show more

I bought a NZXT H440 case off FB Marketplace but the 9 motherboard standoffs the seller gave me were too skinny and we're loose fitting in the case pre drilled holes. 1. I had a spare black standoff that had a wider diameter which fit perfectly snugged in the case. I ordered some standoffs off Amazon but there were the same skinny thread ones that came with the case. 2. I then realized I could use two brass motherboard standoffs, where the 2nd one would go behind the first one, and hold it in place. 3. I decided to pick this screw set since I needed 9 more brass standoffs and pc fan screws. If you buy used PC parts, then this screw set is a good investment. ... show more

    • All kinds of screwy... but that's not a bad thing.
A good variety of screws for putting together PC parts. Exactly what I needed. Pros: A good variety of PC screws for different purposes. Cons: Not removing stars, since the packaging doesn't affect the use of the screws themselves, but the lid to the package isn't exactly tight, which may cause some screws to jump into the wrong compartment, or the lid to pop open and spill them if you're not careful. Two of the screw types are so similar it's hard to know which one is which if you didn't just take it out of the compartment, so I'm 100% sure I've already screwed up the sort. You may want to get a different container to keep them organized. It's also not recommended to use the insulators that are included, as most modern motherboards are designed to be grounded to the case. ... show more

I bought this kit because I needed the standoffs, and this whole kit didn't cost much more than buying standoffs separately. It ended up not working for me, though, because the standoffs here have M3 external threads, but I would've needed 6-32 threads. I ended up buying a similar kit from another seller that has both M3 and 6-32 standoffs. The screws that I was able to use from this kit seem to hold pretty well and there are more screws than you'll ever need. Just make sure you're getting the right kind of screws before you buy. ... show more

I got a case secondhand which was missing some of the usually included hardware. This included the two sizes that are most common, one of which was correct. The other parts were useful while building the remainder of the PC.

as someone who upgrades pc parts a couple times a year, i think this is one of the best purchases i've made so far on this site. it's really convenient to have them in case you run out of or lose screws. there's a big selection and a lot of each kind, plus theyre very organized. the one thing i had a problem with was that the lock on the case broke off after a while but for me it's really not a big problem ... show more
