Let's just start by saying that you need to understand going in that it's an engineered wood product that you assemble yourself. I went in knowing that and have been pretty pleasantly surprised with the table. I've been living with it for about 3 weeks now. It's good and sturdy. The lift-top mechanism operates smoothly. It looks nice, and it's quite functional for every day use, board game nights, or tv-dinner viewing. The biggest complaint was the assembly process. I don't mind putting these kinda of things together, and am fairly handy. Most of the directions are easy enough to follow. BUT(!) the drawer assembly and lift top hardware were VERY confusing. The directions and hardware didn't quite line up 1:1 and even now one of my drawers is kinda recessed, while the other is flush with the rest of the piece. I don't mind TOO much. But, it could be better.

The table is sturdy and versatile, still trying to figure out the how the lighting works. It took 3 hours to assemble but it is beautiful . Once I get lighting going I am sure I will be happy with the ambience it brings to the room. The writing on the instructions are really small . The remote did not come with battery. I missed that detail but once battery was installed it lit up. There are different modes and coloring for the lights and you can add your favorite music and instantly change your environment to dance party mode. Love it! Also the table is wrapped in protective plastic, I debated whether to leave it on to protect it from my grandkids, I decided to remove it and it is much more elegant without it. I’m happy with this purchase.

Instructions are almost adequate. We are used to putting ridiculous pieces of furniture together so we were Ok. Until the drawer slides to be installed— pre-drilled holes in the wrong place. We worked around that. Then at the end when we had to install the lifts we discovered that the side pieces for the table sent in the package were two lefts (or rights). Either way they were not mirror images and the pre-drilled sets for the screws were NOT in the right place. One side was good. Now we have to decide do we take this apart and try to return. Not worth the trouble. The work around was measuring and drilling for carriage bolts. And we made it work. This was for an RV so we were not so particular about the appearance. But I do understand some of the nightmare reviews that I had read. Not a Thousand Dollar piece of furniture— you get what you pay for.

Overall, extremely good value for this coffee table. I like the functionality and the led lights are a nice touch. The lift up part for installing the table is a little tricky, so just be careful when installing. Additionally, the table is a little uncentered based on where you place it on for the bigger piece, so just be mindful of that. Other than that, good table! Hoping it’ll last us a while. Would recommend to give it a try! ALSO - if you have any problems, their customer support/service is awesome and very responsive. 10/10.

Assembled table on a Sunday and it broke by Wednesday. The top (folding) table portion is mounted on to the metal mount by four screws with corresponding securing portions embedded on the table. While using the table, the securing portions were pulled out of the table (see pictures). In fact - all four, with two on each end of the table, pulled out at once. Would not recommend as assembly was frustrating as well and the quality is less than optimal. When contacting the seller, they only offered a fractional refund ($30 instead of the full $185 paid after tax) and suggested use of glue and instructions to not apply too much force when lifting or closing the table. Having used such fold-out coffee tables for years, I would say that I was being reasonably cautious when operating already as this table felt less sturdy than my previous one.
