These shorts are extremely comfortable. They are nice and light for those hot summer days. I followed what others said and ordered a size up. So Instead of a medium I ordered the large and the fit is good. I liked them so much that I ordered two more in different colors.

I usually wear a size M in comfy shorts, occasionally a large. I do not like them to be tight. I wear a size 10 in jeans. I have a mildly hourglass shape. I ordered a L based on reviews. The material seems nice, soft. The color is perfect actually. But the fit? No. These have a very wide, tight, elastic waistband that is just uncomfortable. It is a high rise. Then, the rest of the short is baggy. It kind of looks like a diaper on me. If you carry any weight in your midsection, you may not like these. If you have a small waist & very curvy hips, you may like them. Anyway these are going back.

The exact same short as S Spowind “Women's Cotton Shorts 5" Sweat Bermuda Pull on Shorts with Deep Pockets for Lounge Gym Yoga Walking Athletic”. Same material, same pockets, same packaging, same high waistband…same. Returned both as the high waist reached up to my ribs (5'5" tall). Otherwise, the shorts seem to be well-made, the fabric soft and medium-weight; not thin like jersey or modal and not thick like typical sweatpant/sweatshirt fleece.
