These are a new idea in tubeless tire repair. I was skeptical, but decided 'what the heck' and bought some. Glad I did - in the next few months I pulled screws and wires out of 4 tires! I like to dip these in a little rubber cement for bike tires -- not sure that is required, but these have stopped the leaks and worked great with no subsequent leaks so far. I didn't think I'd use the smaller size, but I've used it the most so far - just match what you put in with what you pulled out give or take. You can't alway put a bigger one in later. No reaming, no fuss - these really work great! and with nothing but a screwdriver and some pliers - I have these, in their nice little individual capsules in every toolbox and inflator bag for emergencies. Of course - NOT for rips or large gouges in tires - each tool has it's purpose.

Good keep these in my glove box along with a screwdriver. These saved me late one one night on the side of the road. Luckily found the nail and repaired the hole quickly. It held up great. I suggest keeping an air pump in the car. Won't let me put 5 stars.

I got a small nail in a tire the other day. I used the small size plug screw thing and it has been holding air with no leakage for 3 days now. Note that I jacked up the car and used some ultra black RTV sealant in the hole and on the screw plug, then screwed it in and let it dry for 4 hours before airing up the tire, so I have not tried using just these alone. I am keeping the rest of these in the car with my portable compressor now as these would be a great quick fix for a flat out on the road. I wish that they came with a larger size, although the 2 sizes included should cover most average roofing nails and screws, but probably not be big enough for a hole made by a large concrete nail or something like that. Still very handy to have around and way easier to use then the old method with the rubber strips.

I have two grown daughters who travel a lot in their respective jobs. On more than one occasion they have been faced with a nail in the tire, in need of repair. The cord patch kits are too difficult. These plugs are perfect. We practiced on an old trailer tire. We punched six holes and used these screws to stop the leaks. Quick and easy!

Wonderful alternative to plugs or fix a flat for your tire. Holds well under extreme heat conditions and frequent wear and tear as my husband is an Uber driver. Was about to use 2 in one tire without issue. Wouldn't recommend using more then one unless your tire specialist recommends it.

Easy to use and, so far, efficient. I'd been pumping air in a slow leak every other day for over a month before I spotted the screw. Took it to Walmart to see if they could do a patch and was told it was too close to the side. It was at least 1 3/4" from the sidewall. So I ordered these. Three days and no change in tire pressure. I will update after it's been in awhile. I did add rubber cement over the top. If it begins loosing air, I'll try again with rubber cement in the threads. Next would be the cord style kit, but I worry my arthritis would make that harder to use. So, until update, 5 stars for now!
