I’ve been using these for a couple of months now and have a multi-battery charger that I use them in. Not sure if it’s the charger or the battery, but they don’t all seem to charge evenly and I sometimes have to reset the charger to get them to charge. Continuing to monitor and only referencing here in the event other reviews mention the same. The batteries are being used in headlamps and are retaining charge nicely. I am only infrequently recharging them as they seem to last quite a long time. The headlamps are LED so they aren’t drawing a ton of power anyway. Overall, no issues and seems like a good product.     • No built-in charger like many these days

Be aware that these don't have a USB C port to directly charge like many similar batteries these days. You'll need a charger to re-charge them so factor in that added cost. While I think you can use a regular nimh/nicad charger those battery technologies charge at a different voltage than l-ion so there's potential safety issues there. There come pre-charged and I've had no issues powering devices with them so far so compatibility seems good. Some devices are sensitive to voltage levels and how batteries drain so they react differently to the different battery chemistries since they all discharge differently. I've had no issues so far with these but they've mainly been used in "dumb" devices like flashlights. Overall these cost a little more per unit than USC-C charging models of the same capacity so there's no big value add. If you happen to have a l-ion charger already then not having to deal with USB C cables or finding those 4-1 special USB C cables can be a bonus. Other than that I'm not sure these are any easier to charge. ... show more

I used a bulk battery charger with these. It definitely took longer than the other older rechargeable ones I had, which is a decent indicator of capacity. I prefer the ones without the charger built in, as you get far more usable energy from them. Very easy to charge with a regular charger. Works super well, definitely the better rechargeables I own. Honestly these have been a big upgrade from other rechargeable batteries I have tried. I use them in my Yale lock and they last way longer without random drops in power like my old ones. Those cheaper rechargeables used to die fast and almost locked me out a couple times, but these have been solid so far.
