If you’re just looking for a regular mirror, this one is great — the mirror itself is high quality. That’s worth 5 stars on its own. However, if you’re buying it for the lighting, you might be disappointed. The light is quite dim and doesn’t provide enough brightness for applying makeup or grooming. That brings it down to 4 stars. Next, if you expect to control the light with a wall switch, this mirror will frustrate you. When you turn the switch on, the light stays off until you press a separate button on the mirror. That’s another issue — 3 stars. If you’re hoping for a useful weather forecast feature, don’t count on it. The list of U.S. cities is extremely limited — the closest option to me was over 100 miles away, making the feature useless. To make matters worse, if two cities share the same name, you can’t tell which state you’re selecting. Since this was the main reason I bought the mirror, we’re now down to 2 stars. Finally, the customer service is awful — rude, unhelpful, and kept me running pointless firmware updates until my return window expired. For that, it drops to 1 star.
