The media could not be loaded. I don't know how to describe the thickness of this fabric, all I can say is it is not cheap fabric. It feels like it's good thick fabric, and high quality. It does seem to fray so the edges will need to be treated either by a zigzag seam or something similar. I ordered these to make my first jelly roll race quilt top. I started sewing them end to end and found they were not cut as evenly across as I’d hoped. (One end was a good bit wider than the other.) Initially, I worried that this would make my strips go together wonky, but I was able to adjust for that, and my quilt top came out even better than I’d hoped! I’m looking forward to the rest of the process and think this will be one of my favorites. Each strip was different and made for a very unique combination. I may be ordering these again, as my daughter really loves the fabric and may be hitting me up for a quilt of her own. ... show more

the colors are vibrant and beautiful. however, the edges are not pinked which can be good sometimes but not good this time. the fraying began the minute i unrolled it. i should have stopped then and there but i hate being a quitter. this is terrible fabric. it frays all over. threads are all over. it was inexpensive but not worth the trouble. maybe i got a bad jelly roll? usually the fabric i buy on amazon is decent but not this. do not buy. very disappointed ... show more

What takes the most time getting everything ready to make a quilt? Cutting all the fabric! This is an amazing shortcut. You can see I used the white, precut strips on both of these quilts. Great time saver

This is not a cotton fabric--it's nylon or rayon and frays a lot. The patterns were cute and I was able to use it, but won't buy it again because it's not great for quilting.
