The media could not be loaded. Wow, this is exactly what summer needs at our house! Since we do not have a pool and the only other place to swim near our home is the lake across from us; the grandkids are really going to enjoy this HUGE waterslide. When the summer heat comes beating down, no having to drive to the lakeshore, dealing with the sand and having to lug swim equipment down to the water. Just unroll this thing, add some water and kids (or even adults!), and let the fun begin! I chose to get the larger, 40-foot length slide as some of our grandkids are getting older, bigger and also because of having older kids in our extended families, I figured the extra length and width would work better. This one is seven feet wide - that's wide enough for the kids to have side-by-side races without constantly running into each other, although THAT is part of the fun! The slide material seems to be relatively thick and should hold up very well over time. It has a slick top side and a somewhat textured underside, and there are no unwieldy seams which might snag or cause burns or irritation while sliding down the surface. I can tell you from past experience, if you have a slide which has rough seams or places where the material is joined together has a "lip", these can cause irritation, especially after many trips down the slide. This one is almost seamless in design. The slide comes with stakes in order to hold it in place, so it doesn't move, fold over or have to be constantly adjusted. There are 20 stakes, enough for ten per side and there are reinforced holes in the slide for each stake. The slide also comes with two inflatable boards which can add to the fun of the slide. As long as the slide is kept wet, you can slide on it easily, but the boards will make it even that much easier (and faster!) to slide. Again, you will need to keep the slide wet while using it, but rather than keeping a hose running constantly, you can use strategically placed sprinklers to keep it wet and also to help conserve water. But hey, this thing isn't about conservation, it's about having wet fun! I don't see anything listed about using any sort of chemical or agents to help with the slickness, so I would suggest sticking with plain water. Now, it might be possible to use some sort of product such as baby shampoo, or something very mild along those lines if it's a must, just be mindful of anything you may use that might impact your grass, shrubs or those using the slide. Right now, it's still a bit too cold to be able to fully test my slide, but I can tell just by examining it right out of the box, it's a good quality product. By that I mean, even though it's cold, the slide material folds out well, and it's very pliable - not stiff at all. Once it's spread out during those warm or hot days, it definitely will perform even that much better. If our grandkids had their way right now, they'd be right in the middle of the backyard with this thing - with blue lips, frozen hands but with huge smiles on their faces! Overall, this is a pretty good product and definitely one which will bring a lot of joy and fun to the kids. For the price it's a good value, and when you factor in the hours of fun and social interaction everyone gets when using it, that makes it an even greater value. I highly recommend it; the kids will love it and so will the grown-ups.

This water slide is a great addition for summer fun. The length really stands out and is way better than using a tarp which is what we previously used to get something of similar size. This slide is actually long enough to get a really great slide, which makes it fun for both kids and adults! The width is also nice because it gives you a little more room and feels less cramped than smaller slides and allows for two kids to go at the same time without being cramped. The material feels thicker than expected and seems durable enough to handle repeated use. Once set up and wet, it gets very slick and works well, especially if you pair it with a sprinkler or steady water flow. Setup was simple. You just lay it out and secure it with the included stakes, and it’s ready to go. It also comes with inflatable boards, which add to the fun and help you slide even better. This is a really fun backyard activity that’s great for hot days, parties, or just something different to do outside. For the listing price and size, it feels like a great value. 5 stars.

This slip and slide ended up being a big hit in the backyard. The 40 foot length makes it much longer than the typical small ones, so there is plenty of room to build up some speed and actually enjoy the slide. It also comes with inflatable boards which make sliding easier and a lot more fun for both kids and adults. The material feels thicker than some of the cheaper water slides I have seen, and the included stakes help keep it in place so it does not move around too much on the grass. With a steady hose running it stays nice and slippery and keeps everyone entertained for a long time. Overall this is a great summer activity for the backyard. It is simple to set up and creates a lot of laughs, especially on hot days when everyone wants to cool off. We haven’t had a chance to try it out since it’s not quite warm enough so I’ll give the best review I can without having used it. I will say I don’t think durability will be an issue because the mat seems very heavy duty. I noticed right away that they provide little stakes that fit flush with the ground to hold the slide into place without something sticking up out of the ground that could cause injury. I will have kids in all age groups using this so I appreciated that detail. I also love that it comes with little sleds which will help not only with speed but with safety as well to avoid rocks etc that may be under the mat. It really is huge. Exactly as described. The box is heavy because of the sheer size of the slide folded up and the durable material. Can’t wait to try it out!
