Upon opening, side leg..the white “plastic” finish is peeling. Very Noticeable. When assembling the top, the wooden dowels shown in instructions have no holes to go into on the actual frame of the table. Only the 3 holes on each length side for the screws. One chipped leg. And chips at each screw you put in. Was hoping for a more sturdy decent look for the price. ... show more

We purchased a new home about 6 years ago. Since then, we upgraded the couches in the living room from what we moved in with, yet we've never had a coffee table. This is a problem no more with this beautiful looking coffee table. Assembly of the table is rather simple. I'm experienced with putting similar furniture together and it took only about 5 minutes. Still, it's simple enough that even the most novice won't take long. There are 6 wooden pieces total, which are easily connected together with the provided hardware. You will need your own Philips head screwdriver for assembly but that is the only tool. From there, everything is either the simple placing of a wooden dowel, screwing in a screw or tightening a cam with a screwdriver. When you are done, the table really looks great. It seems like a really good price point for such an attractive table. I will note that there was one piece of wood that was marred on arrival. The outer white painted wood was chipped, exposing the bare material underneath. I saw no shipping damage, so this was likely sent from the factory in this state. Fortunately, in my case, it was a piece that was well underneath and not visible from any normal viewing angle so I can't complain. Overall, very satisfied with this coffee table. Often things look worse upon receiving than in the advertised pictures. If anything, this looks better in person and fully assembled. ... show more
