This turned out to be an epic disaster. This was my plan: I wanted to put this fence up in the Fall, to act as a wind-break along the border of my yard to keep the leaves in my neighbor’s yard from blowing into my yard. My dad has done this in his yard, and it makes leaf clean up in the Fall so much easier! All the leaves are collected in one place. I ordered a set of tomato stakes to use as fence posts. These were NOT a good choice, as they were not sturdy enough to support the fence. This is not the fault of the fence. HOWEVER, there is nothing on the fence, built into the design, to attach the fence to any sort of fencepost. I imagine one could use zip-ties to hold the fence on the fenceposts. But unless has the right fenceposts, or was careful to tie the zipties SUPER tight, the fence could still slide down the stake/fencepost. That was exactly what my problem was. Nothing I did would hold the fence UP on the stake. It kept sliding down. The mesh of the fabric is not stiff enough to hold it in place. I spent all day blowing & bagging leaves. I about killed myself getting all the leaves up. I hammered the stakes in the ground, then used the weave of the fabric to “thread” over & under on the tomato stakes. I tried to keep the top holes of the fence wrapped over the top of the tomato stakes. But then my 75 lb golden retriever saw my neighbor, his good buddy, and the dog plowed right through the fence, knocking the whole thing down. I nearly cried. The sun was setting & I was tired, so I resoled to come up with a solution the next day. Except the next day there was a huge windstorm and all the leaves from my neighbor’s yard (the neighbor had not raked ANY of their leaves) blew all across my yard. I was devastated. Now, as to the fence itself, it is made of a plastic fabric weave. There are nice reflective strips woven horizontally through the fabric, so it is easy to see at night when light shines on it. The fence is a vivid fluorescent orange, and so is quite visible during the day. There is a plastic edging (made of tiny loops, but not big enough to loop over a fencepost) along the edge to prevent easy tears. One will need heavy-duty scissors to cut the fence to the desired length, The fence is not flimsy. It is a medium-weight product, and one will need decent stakes to hold the fence up. The fence does not come with anything to hold it up, and so I found the product very challenging to install. This is the first of this kind of product I have used or tried to intall, so I cannot speak to if this is a good value for the money. But considering the utter & complete FAIL this was for my purpose, it was a rather expensive fail.

We were needing to block off a section of our property that was being worked on little by little with a one of those small backhoes from a rental place. We didn't think there would be an issue, but after the first day, a couple of kids were routinely trying to come onto our property to place in the hole. Not unexpected, considering the average human child years for the mines of yesteryear. Still, we couldn't allow it in the event they got hurt. We talked to them, their parents talked to them, we posted signs, but it didn't stick. This was a cheap was to fully mark off the area. Stands tall when installed properly, the color is nice and bright, and easily viewable from a distance. Furthermore, it was a more physical deterrent that proved to work. It wouldn't physically be able to keep someone out if they really wanted in, but it offers enough of a barrier that it gets the point across. After slow progress over 3 months, we were finished. When we took it down, there were no tears or really any wear in the mesh material. Quite frankly, it was in such good condition still that we rolled it back up and have it stored in our shed for possible future use. Even then, if we need to order more, it is not drastically expensive.

I picked up this safety fence for a project at home where I needed to section off an area for some landscaping work. The roll was surprisingly easy to handle, and the bright orange color is hard to miss, providing excellent visibility. The reflective strips are a fantastic addition, especially because I often work into the dusk hours, and they add an extra layer of safety. The mesh material is sturdy but lightweight, which made it simple to unroll and set up quickly. I appreciated that it didn't require a ton of effort to keep in place once staked down. It’s managed to withstand some pretty harsh weather, which was a pleasant surprise considering its temporary nature. One minor drawback I noticed is that if you’re working on uneven ground, it might take a bit of extra effort to get it taut and looking neat. However, the fence’s versatility makes up for this small inconvenience, as I've also used it for crowd control during a small community event, and it performed just as well in that setting. It's been a great addition to my toolkit for various outdoor projects.

I would never buy again. If this is designed to work as a snow fence as advertised, it fails. First strong wind, it started tearing. The second it has ripped apart. Maybe if you doubled the fence, somehow looping it twice it might work. For awhile. I had high hopes but not now

I picked up this product because I’m in the middle of replacing the back fence on my property, and I needed a temporary solution that would both keep my pets contained and maintain some degree of privacy from the private street that runs behind my home. That street sees a steady stream of neighbors walking their dogs, and while everyone is friendly enough, it’s best for everyone involved that our pets stay on their respective sides until the permanent fence is back up. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this material, but it turned out to be a surprisingly good solution—strong, flexible, and easy to adapt to my setup. The mesh is a great balance between visibility and privacy. It’s tight enough that it breaks up the line of sight into my yard quite effectively, which helps reduce the distraction for my pets and keeps them calmer when they’re outside. At the same time, it’s not a complete visual wall, so light still passes through, keeping the yard open and bright.
