This anti-slip tape is fantastic! After using it on my stairs at home, I no longer have to worry about slips and falls. My stairs used to be very slippery, especially when water was tracked in on rainy days or after mopping. I was always nervous watching the elderly and kids walk up and down, terrified someone might fall. I was worried I couldn’t install it myself, but this tape is incredibly easy to use. I can cut it to the right size with regular scissors, clean the stairs, peel off the backing and press it down firmly. Even someone as inexperienced as me finished a section of stairs in just a few minutes. The 80-grit textured surface provides great traction, with no more slipping, even when wet. The adhesion is excellent—after application, the edges do not curl, lift or come loose at all. Now I feel completely safe when the elderly go for walks and the kids run up and down the stairs. Even my cat doesn’t slip when jumping on the steps! It’s much more affordable than hiring a professional for anti-slip treatment, and it gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommended for anyone with slippery stairs! 10/10!

I’ve used this stuff on everything. I put it on my guns, tools, chainsaw and anything I want a better grip on. It’s easy to use and to cut. I’m very impressed.

The grip surface of this tape is aggressive. 80-grit is pretty rough, but gives good purchase on shoes. The initial adhesion to a smooth concrete floor is adequate, but it doesn't live long with snow/water tracked in and soap mopped over it. The grit itself is not securely embedded in the tape. It only took a couple weeks for it to start feeling smoother and offering less grip on boots. For a quick grip patch in a dry area, this works great. Cut to size and stick it down, easy to get done. With high use and planned replacement, it also works. For high traffic areas, the durability is on the order of weeks. Transitions from rain, snow, or ice to smooth concrete that gets mopped... I've not found much that lasts long, and this is no exception. I know the answer is to mill an area and fill with sand+epoxy, but replacing a couple tape strips every month or two has become the bandaid until I get frustrated enough to do it. This is my case, though. Your case may be different.
