I needed sturdy bags with easy open zips and air tight, these are perfect! Have used the 6ml in the past, (much harder to find these day) and love the sturdiness of them, but these 4ml bags hold up about the same. The size of the usable space is the size listed, and doesn't include the tab. We store seeds in them, the 4*6 and 6*8 fit the seed packets perfectly. So far have kept moisture/pests out. Have only had them a short time, they are holding up to regular use so far. Only con is they are quite pricey these days, about 10x what they were only 3 yrs ago adding to the mark up on our items. I get it, everything is going up. Unfortunately to the point people are losing interest in shopping. Bitter sweet, we do need to change our society from consumers to producers. So... The seller is awesome with fast shipping. The product.... As long as the price doesn't go up, I'll definitely buy them again. ... show more

I was really pleased that these bags are truly what they were claimed to be. They are much thicker and seal perfectly. I use them for storing sewing items, craft items, storage for kitchen items, in the bathroom and the list goes on and on. I can see what's inside and best of all they are not flimsy, thicker than the heaviest freezer zip bags. I also have the larger size 9x6 that I store sewing patterns in. Thick & good zipper. I use these to store various bits, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. Also for preserving opened super-glues & similarly small tubes of adhesives. Lastly, I keep small bottles of oil, etc. to contain any leakage.

I work in a high humidity environment and my iPhone is always capturing sweat and humidity behind the Otterbox screen. I started using a sandwich bag to protect the phone from moisture while in my pocket. But they don't last long. This product is sturdier, fits perfect, I can use the phone through the plastic easily, even texting. A few of my brother Ironworkers now use them.
