I’ve been learning to make corsets and bras so getting this white stretch mesh fabric will be perfect for making a variety of projects. The fabric is soft to the touch so it will be good for against-the-skin garments. The stretch is 4-way. The fabric is very light-weight so I may use it more as a lining layer in my projects, rather than as the main fabric, or double it up for more support. It’s not a powernet strength. I’m very happy with this fabric and would buy more in the other colors to have a supply of stretch mesh on-hand for my upcoming projects.

What I like ~ • fabric was vacuum sealed for freshness and in spite of this did not retain wrinkles • fabric is soft with super fine mesh that drapes and flows and yet is not too delicate What I don't like ~ • I did not think to wash it before putting it on my table and quickly noticed the black was transferring to my hands and the edge of my table. Had the packaging warned me to wash it first, this would be a 5 star review. • It's a lighter weight than I had expected but that speaks more of the projects I do than a fault of the product

Fabric width is 63"-64" from selvage to selvage. The cut ends do not ravel or roll when pulled on (as they would if it were a jersey knit or other stretchy fabric.) There is a nice amount of stretch on the fabric's weft and warp. The sheerness is enough to provide some coverage, but you can see through the fabric. The drape of the fabric does not give it any stability, so you can use it for items that require much flow. The biggest downside is that the fabric's dye comes off on your hands as you work with the fabric. Prewashing the fabric before you use it for anything will be extremely helpful. Just handling it transferred the black dye on my hands and fingernails. I plan to wash it alone and with a color-catching sheet or two, as I expect a good amount of dye to bleed out. This is the main reason I gave it only four stars. Other than the dye transfer, the fabric itself is nice.

I really like this mesh fabric I purchased for a sewing project. It has a great 4 way stretch as described and is a nice shade of cream. My only complaint is that it is on the sheer side, and youll have to ruffle it up or use many layers in order to have some degree of opacity.

I selected this fabric based on the "powermesh" part of the name and did not pay enough attention to the "superfine" part. I wish the vendor offered a full range of this product. My use case is making the back band for bras; this fabric is FAR too thin for that purpose. I can imagine it working very well for illusion tops in competition wear; I can't imagine using it as a fashion fabric on its own. I tested it by stitching four layers onto the slightly tired back bands of two bras; I think it worked well. The bands feel like they have renewed stretch and recovery. I don't think four layers would be enough on their own. Managing eight layers would be a pain. I would rather simply buy the powermesh grade I need for that purpose. I suppose this fabric is dyed, although I didn't think about it; I selected the nude. I didn't notice any color coming off on my hands.

I got this for sewing bra bands. You'd be amazed at how many different types of fabric and elastics are needed just to make one bra! Fortunately, with this abundance of mesh, you can sew a lifetime of lingerie, maybe even expand into offering your services to others. Who doesn't like custom lingerie? Nylon dyes beautifully, so I got the white so I can use that or I can dye it whatever color I like. This is a useful fabric that will last me a long time.

I use power mesh for a few different things -- it works well as a lining in swim tops and bras and I occasionally make ballroom dance competition dresses that include an illusion mesh. This fabric is a little on the lighter side than some that I've used in the past, but still feels sturdy with good stretch and recovery as I'd expect. I wish there were better color options to match non-white skintones. I measured my cut and it came up 5 inches short of a full 5 yards, which is disappointing. but other than that, I'm pleased with this product.

The fabric came in a vacuum sealed package, but the wrinkles fell out really quickly. The material is a fine mesh, almost like a chiffon but definitely more like a fine, soft tulle. It has a nice drape and weight so that it swishes nicely. I'm making this into a circle skirt and bodice overlay and am trimming the edge in a satin 3 inch wide ribbon. While it does have 4 way stretch, thus far it doesn't seem to be warping while draped uncut on my dress form. I'll check back in if that seems to change.
