So far this has been a great kit. I’ve never installed an engine on a bike before and I learned a lot during the process. The engine runs great and is smoother than I would have expected. I had to order a few things to convert my bike, such as bottom bracket, pedals, and a different motor mount, but that was to be expected. So glad I went forward with this project.     • Not a viable solution for the long term
Put this on my son's bike. Within 2 weeks of running it, the springs inside the clutch failed. I now have a loud grinding noise, and I can't find replacement parts for it. Doesn't seem like this is something that is built by any means for something to use for a long period of time. Maybe 10-15 minutes before it wears out. After looking at things a little closer, I have to rewire and reroute electrical because the wiring is thin and not exactly safe from the factory. I may be looking at a complete rebuild of things. Had this product for 3 months now and it’s still going strong. Even with the governor removed pinning it all the way no issues. Idles great and gets you where you’re going.
