The media could not be loaded. I originally purchased a larger, gravity-based feeder (similar to the waterer pictured in the video) because it was highly rated, but the amount of feed that was spilled/wasted was ridiculous - pretty much the entire storage capacity of the feeder daily. (And this was from a name-brand company.) When looking for an alternative, I came across this product and it has been a much better option for my chicks. It holds plenty of food, is easy to refill, and has drastically reduced the amount of feed that is spilled/wasted daily - I brush out the shavings twice a day (because chicks are messy/explorative), and top off food, they're happy and excited to eat.
