I have been using these tips for several years now. They are the second best that I have used so far. They are not bad and can last for a long time so long as you do not play on direct surfaces like wood, concrete, or asphalt. (You know how kids will run outside and beat on the sidewalk, or in the parking lot). If you use them for a more orchestral style cymbal roll, do not overuse or they will start to split. They are light to the touch and are easy to put on and to remove. For that reason, do not have them where little children can get to them. They are best used on practice pads for beginners through intermediate level players. For those with better developed sick control, they are a great mute for playing around the drum set. They are well worth the price.

I used these in a warm-up area before a couple of performances with an orchestra and not only are they relatively quiet, they work as well as any practice pad I have used. I like the weight for warming up because it really loosens up my hands.

These tips are cool. But if you have sensitive roommates or downstairs neighbors, these might or might not be the solution to your particular problem. IOW, they may fail big-time. But they are DEFINITELY worth a shot because there ARE venues where having these bad boys will make ALL the difference in the world. I plan to buy another pair or two soon.

They give you cool character... but they don't make my drums quieter... the cymbals, yes... they are quieter. I am leaving them on for a while... likely on a set at all times, and still use without on my regular pair. Looks like they'll last a while and I may even buy another set ( of 4 ) when/ assuming these wear out.

These are well made, durable and fit on my sticks well. But they do absolutely nothing to mute the sound. The muffle the cymbals a little, but it’s barely noticeable. If you want to practice on a table or desk without leaving a mark these would be good for that.

Our kids have discover our old Wii Beatles Guitar Hero game and love it. Our drumsticks were worn out and these did the trick. Works great and our son thinks they’re cool.
