The pipe is good quality and a few thousandths thicker than expected. It comes highly polished and well protected during shipping. . The diameter (2.25" (57.15mm) O.D.) was right on. The thickness is right at 1/16" (0.0625") (1.5875mm) based on eyeball measurement. I was able to expand the pipe end to slip over another 2.25" OD pipe without it splitting. . My only complaint is that the pipe was 1/2" short! If I order a 40" pipe, I expect a 40" pipe (+/- 1/16") and not a 39.5" pipe. This is just a way for the company to save money and provide the customer with less than advertised. If each pipe is cut 1/2" short, the company gets to sell an "extra" piece after every 79 cuts. The better practice would be to sell a 39" piece and actually deliver 39.5". Same end result, same profit, better optics. ... show more

Exactly what it says 4 inch stainless pipe. Suited my purpose well. Any expanding of end requires a larger than normal tool. The band clamp worked for me.
