This is the only option I was able to find that came with a headband cover for top and bottom, clear case for outside of the earmuff, and soft silicone ear pad covers. I struggled to get the clear cases on the outside of the earmuff for a second but once I got it fit perfect and everything is still usable (buttons, mic, etc.). They are not too bulky for the Smart Case and I was worried about the covers making the headphones slightly uncomfortable but I find that they almost make them more comfortable... Everything fits perfect and I love the look of them with the covers, all while keeping them scratch and stain free. Most definitely purchase this product for your AirPods Max. ... show more

The silicone band and cover for the top are thin enough that they don’t add any bulk above or below the mesh. The TPU covers are a bit thicker. Everything came in a little bag without any smell to it and fit on to the right parts easily but don’t feel like they’ll come off.
