To start off I should say that I've been having severe neck pain for several months which seems to be linked to my pillows. And I won't name them all, but I've purchased probably 10 different pillows on Amazon over the past 4 months. And I've spent north of $400 trying to find one that would alleviate my neck pain. These include a $149 Tempur-pedic Tempur-Down pillow, and a $70 Brooklinen Feather Pillow which actually was not purchased on Amazon. This pillow is very very good, it may not the very best, but it is a good solid pillow. I purchased it because it was advertised as a Down Alternative. And while it is soft, it's a little too bouncy for me to use as a back sleeping pillow which represents about 25% of my sleep time. But it excels as a side sleeping pillow, which is most of the time for me. And I wouldn't call it a Down Alternative. I think it's much closer to the gel fiber pillows like the Beckham Hotel pillow. It conforms to my head better than the Hotel pillow but when you lift your head after burrowing in, it bounces back to it's original shape pretty much immediately. They referred to it as a "Slow Rebound" but I think it's an "Immediate Rebound". On the more positive side, it seems to be a relatively cool sleeping pillow. My head didn't get hot at all, and that is something I often struggle with. So for that reason I'm keeping it in my pillow arsenal for times when my head is running hot. Another slight negative and something I didn't notice in other reviews is that it's cover has a plastic kinda feeling to it. Hopefully that will go away after using it for a while. And while it was not an expensive pillow, it wasn't free. It also has the ability to unzip it & take out some of the fill to adjust it to your liking, which is very nice. They even give you a zip bag to store the extra fill you pull out. There are some things about this pillow I don't love, but ultimately, it's a darn fine pillow priced at a very fair price for what you get. While so many other sellers are trying to sell similar pillows for way too much, this seller is being good and fair to it's customers. And for that and the fact that it is a perfectly fine pillow, certainty not the best out there, but a very good pillow, I give it 5 stars. One of the best values for a pillow on Amazon. IMHO Update: I ordered a second one of these pillows to use as a bolster, and this one arrived with significantly less fill inside. Now I understand why this was referred to as a down alternative. This one is soo much more comfortable than the first. My head just sinks into it in a very comfortable way. Not so far that it flattens out, but just perfect. I was hesitant about pulling the fill out of my first one due to the nature of the fill, it's like cotton candy, & I was worried that if I pulled out too much it might feel clumpy if I tried putting some back in. But I just wanted to let you know that this is going to be one of my 2 go to pillows now. My second update is to say that the pillow cover no longer feels like plastic. I've only been using this for a week & whatever was causing that feeling has disappeared. It now feels like a perfectly normal cotton pillow cover. I think in the future, you guys at RECCI should send these out with a little less fill in them and maybe send that little plastic bag along with extra fill in it, rather than sending it empty and the pillow very full. Measuring in a price to comfort ratio, at $15.99 Recci pillows may be the best value for a pillow on Amazon. Thank you Recci!

When I first opened this I didn't think I'd like it. It makes a weird crinkling sound. That seems to be going away a bit, thankfully. I'm actually shocked at how comfortable this pillow is. I've bought 3 other pillows in the last few months because I get migraines and have to have a supportive pillow. Very comfortable and cooling which I love. I'll update after I've had it a bit. Hopefully it remains comfortable....that's the real test. *Have used for a couple good days now and I'm really loving this pillow! If I continue to be as happy with it as I am, I will be suggesting to others in my migraine support groups!

This product description does not state that the sheet is pieced together. I received a large sheet with an extension sewn on. The fabric quality is good and comfortable to sleep under but the seam limits the direction I can place the sheet so my stripes go horizontal on ,y top sheet and vertical on my bottom sheet.

You'd think something as mundane as a stuffed, rectangular fabric pocket would not be a point of trial - but for me it has been. I punched, flipped and fluffed my last pillow, and I still found it constantly uncomfortable. After about a year I started waking up with a kink in my neck and back. Finally, I put that pillow with the other seven or so pillows I've tried. I was uneasy about buying a pillow online, but since this pillow was "adjustable" and presumably of a better quality, I felt like it was worth the gamble. So far, it's been a really nice pillow. I immediately took some of the stuffing out. The filling is very soft and it doesn't flatten out or mold like concrete. I'm sleeping and I'm not waking up with a kink in my neck or back. So I guess I don't have anything bad to say about it. It's a keeper. (FINALLY)
