The FBHNLY selfie stick is 15” in length when fully collapsed. The base section measures 1-1/2” in diameter and features a 5-1/2” section of rubberized grip that provides a comfortable handhold for the pole. The base has a 1/4-20 threaded socket that could be used to mount the pole on a tripod, but this would be an inherently weak support method at any extension over a few feet. The top of the pole features a standard 1/4-20 stud on which pretty much any camera or photo accessory could be mounted. Nine carbon fiber sections extend smoothly out of the base section. These telescoping sections slide with a fair degree of stiffness that will keep them from collapsing under a reasonable amount of weight. I found it to sometimes be difficult to grip the smaller sections I wanted to extend if my fingers had some natural oils on them, so you may want to carry some sort of non-slip pad for gripping. The extensions are divided into three groups that are marked as 120cm, 240cm and 300cm. You can pull at one of these indicators to extend just the amount of pole that you require. The specifications indicate the camera weight should not exceed 300g or 10.58 ounces. You would not want to exceed this weight – especially if you are going to use the full 116” extension. At this length caution is needed to not overly stress the pole and to protect your camera because there will be a considerable amount of flex when raising - but at full height you can get some nice perspectives that will resemble drone shots. Of course, if you don’t need to work at full extension, the pole is much stiffer and easier to handle at the shorter lengths. I found the weight versus length of this pole to be quite impressive. Use good judgement in the amount of weight you put on it and how much stress you apply while lifting your camera and it should serve you well. I found this to be an excellent lightweight extra-long selfie stick.

This review is for a selfie stick, sold as Amazon ASIN B0H2HP9GH9 by seller FBHNLY. This is an amazing selfie stick. I've used nylon sticks, aluminum sticks, and even things that claimed to be carbon fiber, but this is the real deal. Closed, the unit is 15 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter. The bottom roughly half of the closed cylinder is encased in a smooth rubberized grip. The very bottom cap with a 1/4"-20 threaded socket seems to be anodized aluminum. Fully extended, it is indeed 3 meters long. There are nine telescoping segments, but rather than just have all nine simply nest, they've arranged in in groups of three, each group with a numbered collar on it. I'm guessing they may produce shorter versions of the stick using only the first three or only the first six segments? In any event, you can get any length you want up to 3 meters by simply not pulling each segment fully. You don't need to pay attention to the numbered collars. The segments are entirely friction-driven, and there doesn't appear to be any opportunity for adjusting the tension. With use, there will probably be wear. When brand new, they take a fair amount of force to move against each other. It is amazing to hold the stick horizontal fully 3 meters out and be able to hold it level with very little force. It is striking how little mass is in the outward segments. Carbon fiber is amazing stuff. With the camera mounted on it, now you've got a huge lever arm, and it takes a lot more force to keep it level. However, even at level there was no visible bending or flexing in the combined 3 meters of shafts, it stayed dead straight. At a listed price of about USD$87 at the time of this review, there is no doubt that this is an expensive stick. But I don't think it has any equal. The fit and finish are comparable to my carbon fiber tripods.

This thing is awesome! Some brands are charging so much for a camera mount like this, but this one is a very reasonable price and very high quality. I think it's an excellent value, and I love that it has the mounting thread on the bottom so I can add a tripod base if I want to. It's compatible with my action cameras and works perfectly. It's surprisingly light, but still feels durable. It's easy to use, and considering how long it is, I'd say it is absolutely stable. Of course, there's a tiny bit of wobble once you max out the length, but it's absolutely reasonable for what you're getting.

Review of the FBHNLY 3m Extended Edition Selfie Stick (9.8ft) Carbon Fiber @ $86.99 This “selfie” stick extends to an impressive length. So far, in fact, it is not only a selfie stick but also allows different angles and views that would otherwise be impossible, such as taking a picture over the edge of a cliff. The stick begins with a 13-inch handle. The handle is well-balanced, and the rubber pad provides a secure grip. The bottom has a standard 1/4 inch camera socket, perhaps for a tether, which is not included, or a base. The shaft extends smoothly in sections of roughly a foot each until the total length is reached. The shaft is quite strong; when maximally extended and held horizontally, even with my iPhone 16 Pro Max weighing 300 grams (10.5 ounces), it barely flexed. The last section is a slender 3/8 inch in diameter. The sections are held in place by friction and do not lock. Note that the shaft ends with a 1/4 inch camera screw. I used a friction clip to hold my phone and tethered it to the stick to avoid accidents. On the whole, the stick is well balanced. I was easily able to control it with my phone at the end, but I think it could become tiring. The only drawback is that the handle is long; this is not a stick that one could easily carry in a purse or pocket, although it fits well in my small backpack. And, the cost, of course, although products made of carbon fibre are always pricey.

This is a very well-made carbon fiber selfie stick that extends to its full advertised length and performs exactly as expected. Even when fully extended, it feels solid and provides much better stability than many other long selfie sticks I have used. I am using it with my DJI 360 camera, and it holds the camera securely without excessive flex or wobble. I have tried other selfie sticks of similar length, and many of them simply are not rigid enough to provide the stability needed for smooth filming. This one does an excellent job. The lightweight carbon fiber construction is another advantage, making it easy to carry while still remaining strong enough for extended use. I rated this five stars because it is exceptionally well made, stable even at full extension, and an excellent choice for 360-degree camera filming. I highly recommend it.

This extra-long carbon fiber selfie stick is a fun upgrade if you use an Insta360 camera. The ability to extend it to nearly 10 feet opens up a lot of creative angles that just aren’t possible with a standard selfie stick. It works well for overhead shots, walking videos, and wide scenic footage, and the invisible stick effect makes the final video look surprisingly clean. Even though it’s long, it’s lightweight enough to carry around and collapses down to a much more manageable size for storage. The carbon fiber construction feels sturdy, and the sections lock in place securely without feeling overly flimsy. Just keep in mind that when it’s fully extended, you’ll want to use it carefully, especially in windy conditions or with sudden movements, since any long pole can flex a bit. For normal use, though, it provides good stability and does exactly what it’s designed to do. Overall, this is a great accessory for Insta360 users who want more dramatic, professional-looking shots without adding much weight to their camera bag.

I love my Insta360 X5 camera but, up until now, I haven’t owned the extended length selfie stick. So I can tell you that I am very impressed with this item! It’s absolutely amazing how light weight this item is, but yet it is so extremely durable! It is made of carbon fiber. When compacted, it’s a mere 14” in length . But when you extend it, it becomes almost 10’ long! And you might think, at that length, it’s going to be wobbly? Not at all! Considering the long length, this thing is rock solid when fully extended! And, it’s invisible to my camera! The Insta360 X5 camera has software built-in that somehow disregards the selfie stick, so it’s invisible in photos. So, when I use this selfie stick, what you see is me from 10’ above with my arms at my side! It’s amazing! I am very pleased at the quality of this selfie stick. Even if you don’t have an Insta360 camera, this selfie stick has a 1/4–20 screw thread on the end which should accept most cameras, like action cameras and cell phone cages. I love it!
