We got right to work with the 3M Double Sided Foam Tape. It's performed admirably. I love that this is a 32' big roll of 2" tape so as things come up we have this around the house to use instead of going down to the store and buying those little strips. So far we've used it to hang a couple of photo frames and attached the bottom of the utensil organizers to the drawers so they'll stop sliding around when we open and close the drawers.

So I had a custom house number sign made up for my house and had been waiting for this to come to see how it would do holding it up as I didn't feel like drilling into my house to hang the sign. It's been up now for a day, in rainy 35 degree weather and it hasn't budged. I even gave it a little tug to see if it was still firmly in place and it was. 3M is well known for its tape so I expect this to do very well. I'll update this review should the tape ever fail while being exposed outside and the time it took.

This is a roll of 3M double-sided tape, measuring 0.5" wide. It has a bit of a thickness as well. I got this for use in various craft activities, as the narrow width is easier to work with than the 1" or 2" rolls that I usually have on hand for hanging things.

This double-sided tape works well to secure things to a surface. There is a little foam padding in between both sticky sides. I used this to tape some center rugs down to the wood floor as they were starting to curl up making them a trip hazard. After taping them down the corners/edges stayed down like they are supposed too. I also used this tape to tape some pictures to the wall, and some rubber ducks down to a surface.

A nice, large roll of 3M, double-sided foam tape. I find it's not as sticky as I expected but perhaps because I'm using it while it's cold outside. I want to see how well it holds up as temperatures fluctuate. I applied a decent amount of pressure in my application and it's holding but at first touch, it didn't feel very sticky. Over time, it will probably take paint with it once it sets up. It is easy to unroll and remove the backing paper. Good tape.

It's a very tacky double-faced tape. Ideal for hanging posters or taking down carpet. It's very thick almost like a layer of foam. I would not use it for woodworking. I think it's a little too thick for most woodworking applications. Pretty good deal at 33 ft for 22 bucks. It's a #m product so I'm pretty confident it's a quality product.

This double sided foam tape is similar to a command strip, and I've been using it as such. It's been holding up 12x16 poster frames easily, and I tried testing the removability of the tape and it's just as good. Just pull downwards so the tape stretches and there is no mark left on the wall.

For any kind of tape, 3M seems to be the standard. It's the standard for metal insulation tape, and it's probably considered the standard for this sort of product too. This is nice tape with some thickness, which provides a little insulation and also a way to cut it off when removing an object from its location. This tape gets stronger over the first few minutes hours when you apply it; it's "slow set", so that you have time to reposition the work as you want it before the adhesive layers set fully.
