I had an old version of this tape, in fact it was turning yellow. I had gotten a new stainless refrigerator and the salesman tested a magnet on it. It stuck on the sides but not on the front. The tape was perfect. Put right over the magnet and it stuck.

Our bedroom gets really hot in the summer and can reach 40C/104F for a few weeks straight. This 3M tape doesn’t hold anything that sticks to it when it’s so hot in the room, so the claim in the item’s description for 104C/220F is a false statement.
