I read and doubted the Reviews on how quick it dries but it does And my first time using this stuff I kind of wasted a lot of it trying to do too much at one time and the stuff I couldn’t attend to dried while I was trying to get the other stuff in the proper position. Also it seems if you do a little bit let it dry or sort of dry and add more add bonds to the other stuff very well so don’t feel like you have to do it all at once you can do a little bit mix more at it and just keep going. I never did the half inch thick by 3 inch diameter and add the blue like the direction said I just would guesstimate according to that and did all sorts of different amounts at different times but it seemed like the Less of the blue Hardner you use seems to give you more time. I went through half of it between messing up and it drying for this bezel I modified for my truck relocating the climate controls to fit an equilizer in between them. As you say there’s not much here But it worked great I’m sure it’l come in handy for all sorts of things ... show more

Bondo putty requires a little experimentation to get the hang of, but works incredibly well once you get used to it. The two part system and mixing in a hardener might seem like a hassle compared to one material putties and similar products. However, being able to choose the amount of hardener you mix in is a huge advantage. This lets you choose the "stiffness" of the putty - you can get from quite stiff (dryish peanut butter) to very liquid (Nutella-ish) depending on your application. This also affects the dry time - stiff mixtures harden very quickly (a couple min) - thinner, more liquid ones give you more time to work or allow doing multiple small jobs with the same batch. Clean-up is pretty easy and straightforward. The cured putty sands well (though does clog sandpaper - just hit it with a stiff brush to clear the putty dust out). It also takes paint well. Two coats and it looks fine. The tub here is also an incredible value - a little goes a long way, and this gives you plenty of material to mix many batches. It also lasts longer without drying out than some products you might use for similar applications like wood putty. ... show more

its very important to be carefull about how much hardener you use. Following their directions you only have a couple minutes working time. I find it best to use a half (or even less?) and get about 10 minutes. Sandable, drillable (not very strong), will not take stain, but will take paint. I just like this stuff. ... show more
