3M Wrap Film Series 2080 G10 Gloss White is a durable, high-quality product that lets you express your creativity and bring your vision to life. New features, better conformability, and easier installation. All gloss films now come with a Protective Film Layer which helps reduce surface impressions. This layer can stay on during the entire installation. This dual cast film is specifically designed for vehicle applications to provide dimensional stability and durability without the need for an overlaminate. The pressure- activated adhesive allows you to slide and reposition the film over the surface of the vehicle until you apply firm pressure. 3M 2080 is available in 60in (5 ft) widths making it possible to wrap virtually any section of a vehicle without seams. The non-visible air release channels assure a fast, easy and virtually bubble-free installation when professionally installed. Saving valuable installation time. It is installed dry and can be re lifted, repositioned and stretched.

I wanted to protect my girlfriends brand new ikea desk since she does make up- which could easily stain. Ikea unfortunately does not make a glass top for this one, so I wrapped it for easy cleaning. “Semi-easy” to work with. The material is great, just not my wrapping skills. in this review I’m going to talk about this vinyl brand vs more expensive stuff from the view point of a self taught novice vinyl wrapper and some tips and insight I’ve learned. Backstory: So I’ve done two small motorcycles and 2 helmets and from a beginner stand point if you want to wrap something for the first time I say do it and don’t be scared to. You’ll probably mess up or get close to but that’s all right it’s very easily fixable with a small amount of heat using a heat gun. Material: I’ve wrapped my first bike and helmet using a more expensive wrap from metro restyling and that was very forgiving and had little to absolutely no bubbles or winkles. I bought this wrap on amazon for my second motorcycle and helmet wrap and it wasn’t too bad it wasn’t as stretchy as the metro one and there is some small winkles and It’s pretty prone to peel on the edges after awhile but overall it is good wrap for the money!! I would recommend metro first or if you wanna save a few bucks I’d recommend this second! Tips: I can not stress this enough though, BUY AN ACTUAL HEAT GUN it's extremely worth it because other people have tried using hairdryers on high heat so I tried it myself one time and it takes a painfully long amount of time to heat the vinyl. it is by far worth spending the extra money to get a proper heat gun just do NOT heat up the vinyl too much it doesn’t need much heat to stretch or retract etc. also be very mindful of stretching your vinyl because it can stretch a little too much and it looks thin and faded and be extra mindful on your edges especially if you do multiple vinyls on one piece using knifeless tape because it’s very thick vinyl so if you dont layer it right you'll see the seam. ... show more

Bought to see how it matched up to a White Ram truck as I heard it close. It's not very close, even from a distance it's obvious. It did match my white Toyota Sequoia perfectly though. Thought I'd put this in a review for those trying to find the right match when wrapping parts.

Used this to wrap my huge mahogany desk. Looks good, very white, very flexible, and sticks very well. Can be peeled off without damaging vinyl in case you need to make adjustments. Glossy but not overly shiny so it does not reflect too much light. Toughness, I tried lightly poking surface with my blunt nail which left a mark but surprisingly semi-healed on its own after a few minutes.
