    • Not great for covering up LEDs
While I know some people will buy this for actual electrical work, I bought it in part to cover up LEDs on white devices. While black electrical tape normally does the job with just one layer, this tape is fairly transparent to the lights, so multiple layers were needed. I keep a roll of this 3M tape for all sorts of odd jobs. Its glossy surface is great for covering wear on older drawers and cabinets. It adheres well and looks great.

Scotch brand tape is a superior company with regard to tape. I tried other less expensive brands with negative results and came back to Scotch Brand tape due to the durability and effectiveness.
