Description

3M 1080 WRAP FILM SERIES are long-term, removable, dual cast coloured films are designed for solid colour vehicle detailing, decoration and full wraps without graphic protection. This film's Controltac pressure-activated adhesive allows it to slide and be repositioned until firm pressure is applied. The non-visible Comply air release channels assure fast, easy and virtually bubble-free installations. These vinyl films (minimum 3.5 mil) are sold in 60 inch rolls, allowing almost any section of a vehicle to be wrapped without seams. This film is recommended for full wraps and can be applied to your vehicles hood, trunk, roof, mirrors, door handles, glass, motorcycle parts, chrome, metal parts and just about any relatively non-porous surface. Terrible. Actually really aggravating paying 70$ for something that MAYBE you can use half of. The folds have cracks all in them and are unusable. It’s a beautiful color, just don’t waste your time on purchasing here, buy from 3m or something direct, idk who would ship this without making sure it was marked fragile or something. 70$ down the drain. This was my first time trying out vinyl. The product is Vvivid brand. It didn’t take take much heat at all to relax the product. I was able to lift and re-stick it a few times without problems. I did get an over-stretch mark but it’s expected for my first time. The color is a little flatter than expected. But it does have a nice bright flop to it. There is small fleck in the color, it’s definitely not a chrome look. For the purpose I bought this for it was great. I didn’t have to do any tight trim work on this application, I just took the chrome piece off and left about a half inch wrapped around to the inside; covering the clips and all. ... show more

Highly recommended. This stuff is great. I wrapped my mk5 gti with this and its realy great stuff to use. Its very durable and maluable so it wont give you too much of a problem.

This is probably the best vinyl I've ever used. Super easy to lay and stretch without heat, although I didn't use it as a full wrap. It's also very pretty. Love it.
