    • Cute, educational, and well-built busy board for toddlers!
I have a three-year-old son who is in love with this busy board! It's helping him with his colors and counting and the little engineer in him absolutely adores the different gears and cranks that you can use with this busy board in freestyle mode as well as the adorable characters. The voices and music coming from the busy board are fun and energetic, but not so loud that they're annoying to anyone else in the family. The board is very responsive and as long as you have the cards in the slot facing correctly (it's not difficult, they just go in a specific way... a child can do it) the board reads the cards and works perfectly. This busy board is made EXTREMELY well. It's very sturdy. It requires three AAA batteries (not included) that are secured in a battery compartment that is held shut with a small screw. This is a great safety feature because I'm confident my son won't be able to get the batteries out and perhaps place them in his mouth. The entire unit is just well-built and as a parent, I absolutely LOVE the fact that all pieces and parts of the board (including the cards) can be stored in the board itself. It's like a small, solid storage container that just happens to be made to entertain and educate your child. This item is incredibly giftable. My son is going to get a lot of use out of it because, while it's educational, it's also fun. The busy board comes in a very sturdy box that would be easy to wrap. (I hate wrapping presents, so anything that comes in a uniform box that's a square or a rectangle and can be wrapped in five minutes or less is a win for me.) The box itself is so nice that you really don't even have to wrap it to give it as a gift if you don't want to. While I think the busy board is an extremely great value for the price they're charging (honestly, they could probably get away with charging twice as much and it would still be worth the money) neither the item nor the box look cheap or inexpensive. This looks, feels, and acts like a toy that you'd buy in an upscale children's store that exclusively carries high-end toys. This is a great toy for little ones that arrived super fast, is packaged well, and is fun, educational, and sturdy. Truly, this might be the best busy board I've gotten for my son (and I've gotten several.) 10/10 product, five stars! ... show more

    • My Son loves Stem toys
These busy boards are the best for rainy days or when they kids can not go outside. This one unlocks a done of different options for kids to build and explore different mechanics within an engineering mindset. My son who is only two years old loves to play with this set and has been able to create some very interesting designs. The product does seem very well made and the couple months my son and daughter have been playing with this set we have had zero issues at all. I got this for my 4 yr old and he's really enjoyed it. It does require some adult supervision, but he can almost handle it on his own. He loves the excavator more than anything else, but seems to really enjoy the amount of variety between each activity.     • There isn’t anything wrong with the product.
That being said, this is my opinion of the product. I got it for my three year old, and there’s just too many pieces, too much going on with that that I think it makes her not want to play with it. There’s cute noises and sounds, but it’s just not something she could get interested in before leaving it. It’s definitely something to do with a parent, but my child is very independent and doesn’t like to receive any sort of help, so it makes it very very hard when I want to be able to help her understand it. I will give you the facts about it for those who have older children and are looking for a more factual review. It has multiple pieces that are easily stored within the game. It takes triple A batteries, and you have to provide your own. It does everything is says it does, like I said, my child just didn’t like it unfortunately, so I have to give the rating of my personal experience with it. ... show more

    • Somewhat complicated kids toy
So I appreciate what the company is trying to do with this toy, and the activity they’re trying to get the child to participate in. But I must say it’s a bit complicated for the age range. Busy activities that engage children well help in their development. This fun Activity board help children with fine motor skills, association and critical thinking. That sounds like a lot of adult talk when really, this toy delivers hours of fun for toddlers and young children. Those with special needs of all ages can enjoy this busy board. I let my neighbors grandson (age 2) play.He enjoyed the board as well as my motivating him to discover all of the things that move and how they affect each other!     • Very well-designed learning toy that is fun and works well
It's great to see a child get a learning toy that they think is fun. Adding a fun component to the task of learning makes it so much better! This item arrived in great shape in a sturdy box. All the components of the board fit inside it so there is a reduced chance of losing pieces. The three AAA batteries are not included but we have drawers full of them. I don't love that the battery compartment is screwed shut but I understand it's a safety feature. The volume level is a bit low for me but our granddaughter seems to have no issue with it. It's fun for adults to play along or just watch the little ones do it on their own. There is so much they can do with all the different options in the box that I can't possibly address them here but suffice it to say that it will keep kids busy for as long as they want.
